One party in one house of the federal government is on the verge of destroying the global economy. And that's insane.

Except in this instance, Ireland, these are real people providing real services. Bottom line, the Speaker of the House can put a Senate bill on the floor that would re-open the government. This bill uses the budget numbers the Republicans agreed to months ago. There is a majority in the House that would pass this bill. But he won't because he is beholden to a minority in his party that want to destroy the global economy. But yes, life isn't fair and people suffer. Oh well, I guess. Those kids who now won't get food because WIC shut down... Oh well. That's life. Shouldn't have been born poor, am I right?
