Support Except I do see where ATA was coming from when they said participation was too low, and the pro-war voices do not match the behaviors of those players. We had a very large war merc group chat on a third party app. We'd try to get people to sign up. I'd pm my friends and try to get them to sign up. It was like beating our heads against a wall. No one wanted to step away from their parties for even a few hours to war. Oh and that famous excuse, "but I have money out". Um, buy a tutor? I would love to see iWars come back because I thought they were really fun. Half the people you could get to actually sign up didn't participate. This also caused a huge uproar in the forums, people complaining about how to deal with so many inactives in these wars. The drops from iWars were also not comparable to the drops from parties, which is why I think many players were not enthusiastic about participating. Another great thing about iWars was it was a way to teach what was then "the new generation" of PIMD players how to war. The most fun beta wars in my opinion were the ones I went to with my alts. The smaller players were so eager to learn and worked their butts off to win. This new generation of players brought up purely in cat cafe clubs desperately need a war experience. I have to put my device down when I see a high mcs player ask what pots are ?. They're missing out on a huge part of this game. But even if ATA will not give us back these wars, they did offer shorter war times. Maybe that was their way of saying, do your own wars if you want them so badly? Players not starting their own wars shows me that maybe ATA is right on this one. Maybe the player enthusiasm for wars is gone.
Obviously you never player PIMD before all this stupid party stuff, now it's pretty much the only way to grow sorta how epic battles ruined kaw but you didnt hear that from me ?
