There's literally a thread on the same page of forums trying to create something similar to iwars. But there aren't any participants to be found. Then you wonder why ATA gave up on wars.
My favorite comment on this forum lol but yes major support for iwars/beta wars/ Orange wars to come back and people stopped warring because war's barely dropped anything in a hunt like you went to war and only won 50things yay but fa101 dropped equal amount and it was the lowest drop party and of course people are going to stop warring so they can keep up in hunts but instead of ata fixing the drops correctly they just transferes this system to kaw( kingdoms at war) n disbanded it on pimd...basically ata needs to bring is my message! Also can't stop laughing at footlongs's comment
I didn't see the thread you're referring to but I'll look for it. I actually don't check forums much because not much changes here. I did a war not quite a year ago that was the closest way I could come up with to iwars. I would like to try that again but it'll probably be towards end of April before I have time. I just wanted to point out that after 2 months, this thread is still getting support. It has its naysayers but that's cool, can't expect everyone to agree. What bothers me, is I've emailed ATA a few times about it, and every time, I've gotten positive feedback in email saying they're watching the thread and working on something. Yet, here we are 2 months later and not a word from them on the thread. I get the varying opinions on this topic; I understand exactly how people lost interest before- I addressed that in my original post. I also see a new revival in wanting this aspect back, and I see newer players wanting to try it. There's something about iwars that we just can't recreate merely by setting up system wars ourselves. I support all aspects of wars in this game- iwars, merc system wars, matched system wars, farm wars. There's absolutely no point to building stats, tb, rb, and mb if you're not going to use them. One of the great things about iwars was all stats could participate. In system wars, we often set minimum stat limits which excludes players. There have been players who graciously try to take the time and do wars for lower stats. That's something many older players, including myself, should participate in. Unfortunately, or fortunately, we also deal with our day to day lives which means when we have time to war, we tend to do it for ourselves; as selfish as that sounds, it's the reality. Iwars provide an opportunity for all stats to participate in short, matched wars. I really just want ATA to show up in forums and say one way or the other whether they will or will not listen to the players who've been commenting on this thread
I'm going to take the chance to make a few petitions to the community in the remote extremely low likely case that Pimd decides to bring a beta test for or a straight official new system of iWars: Let's suppose that we FINALLY get iWars or beta wars back!!!! Whooohooooo!!!!!!!! Super fun and nice!!!! Yayayayayayayay!!!! Ok, no. Here are my petitions: 1) DO NOT BE HARSH WITH NEWB A AND NUB WARRIORS WHEM THIS FIRST START. AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY TO WAIT TILL PARTICIPATION IS HIGH ENOUGH TO GET THE SYSTEM SETTLED TO STAY. When I did my first iWar in KaW, I was bashed pretty badly and that made me quit warring for at least SIX MONTHS. Do not make players quit. Don't expect only pro warriors or super fast wifi/devices. Be patient at least until the system is settled before bashing, kicking or farming nubs out of iWars. Encourage high participation instead discourage it. Instead offend nubs, make guides, send them to read them, guide them, teach them, advice them. Don't be rude and harsh with them. Don't tale a loss SOOOOOOOOOO DAMN SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!! (Stay competitive, of course. but be a good loser, too). . 2) If ata brings a beta test, expect bugs, glitches, etc. Expect bad matches, terrible wars, waste of dns, etc. I kindly ask everyone to not rage quit and try to get through this first stage. Send suggestions through feedback or email support, but let them know you appreciate them bringing back wars and that you're extremely interested and looking forward improvements and bugs corrections. . ENOUGH SAID. I'M OUT, FOLKS. I HOPE THE WAR COMMUNITY GETS MY POINT. This is mostly important at the beginning, until the system gets settled and until there are enough regular participants. Don't be so negative!!!!!!!! Help wars to stay long term \(^_^)/ !!!!!!!!
Currently in a war atm, and ive been overwhelmed with new players wanting to learn how to war. Iwars would given them that opportunity to do so in a short friendly atmosphere. I wars would also allow other pkayers to practice their leading ability and stratagies. Please Ata we are not asking for iwars everyday, just give a chance to prove that there is a place in this game for them
