unless u got to like 250mm ur research wasnt anywhere near 30 days. but yes, 5-7 day research is normal to me, as are 4-5 day construction and 18 hour troop training. even if you couldn't speed those up, they are far, far from the only things to do on the game. i haven't touched my res/cons/tt in weeks (aside from starting new ones when prior finishes ofc) and i play consistently.
