  1. This isn't like Christian Mingle?! Dammit Alice you ruined it for me. ?

Just kidding  I love the thread, I give two thumbs up  I personally have tried dating someone I met on here and it didn't work out, but that doesn't mean it won't for someone else. I have a few friends on here that I'd still like to hang out with at some point in rl, Alice being one. One thing about here is you find people that your personality clicks with and you become great friends. Cherry owes me a night of clubbing. ️

  2. ): My bf doesn't snore when he falls asleep on the phone. I'm met with silence. But it's nice knowing he's on the other side peacefully sleeping.

  3. ? FORUM EMOJI HATE ME!!!!!

  4. Nice op. . I wish you good luck with your bf lol

  5. I haven't fell asleep on the phone with him yet but maybe one day. 

  6. That's just something i've never understood. Really though, whenever i'm in a relationship it sucks to be away from your partner and a relationship just through text isn't ideally my thing. It's complicating and I don't mock it(that much) but i understand the actuality of falling for someone that you meet on here. Depends on the type of person you are i guess cuz no physical interaction with your partner kinda seems like a lost cause to me. You're missing a whole other part of the relationship.

  7. Well the guy isn't missing that part, it's just with his side piece and not the out of town gf.

  8.  First of all it's not just text based. Phone calls are also made, video calls as well, video messages sent, ℰ-mails. But I get what you mean.

And yes the physical part of a relationship is highly important. And it is definitely lacking in this kind of relationship. But on that note it opens the door, and actually sort of forced you to get to know each other on a deeper level. There's a sense of intimacy in the exchange or thoughts and hopes and dreams. There's a bond in talking. An emotional bond. You find that you've now got a best friend and a potential life partner 

  9. But since the physical aspect is incredibly important, it is absolutely necessary that there be an end plan to these kind of relationships, you HAVE to meet up eventually. ?

  10. FUCK THAT

    ID NEVER DATE ANYONE ONLINE

WHY FALL ASLEEP NEXT TO A PHONE TALKIN TO MAH GURL WHEN SHE CAN FALL ASLEEP ON TOP OF ME?!!!

But, none of my damn concern where when why and what people do, or how they choose to date someone.

Most of the time online dating is like going to a thrift shop, why get a hammer for full price WHEN U CAN GET A HAMMER JUST AS GOOD (alrighty slightly broken) FOR LIKE 1 DOLLAR.

  11. Potential life partner yeah, but chances are won't be because of distance, age, etc. If 2 people actually make the effort to meet in RL i think that's awesome. I find if it was me, i'd have to at least meet them.

  12. Also, not ALL men have girls on the side..... Js...

My boyfriend doesn't and I trust him enough not to.

  13. And excuse me John. If it's a monogamous relationship in which the guy is devoted to the out of town girlfriend he always misses out on physical contact. A good boyfriend wouldn't screw some other girl just because his "main chick" is out of town.

  14. Spit that thrift shop reference is priceless

  15.  Spitfire. For once you're actually spouting moronic gibberish. Meeting someone online isn't like going to the damn thrift shop. If you think someone is a broken hammer because they can't be right next to you atm, then I hope you're faced with a situation in which your significant other has to move for work reasons or goes on a business and you have to be apart for a long time. Will she become a broken hammer then?

  16. ^ lol I knew someone would take that joke reference seriously,

  17. ? If it was a joke reference, it should've been funny.

  18. WE DONT ALL LIVE TO PLEASE U ALICE - ONLY YOUR BF LIVES TO DO THAT
