I have a few friends on here that I'd still like to hang out with at some point in rl, Alice being one. That's just something i've never understood. Really though, whenever i'm in a relationship it sucks to be away from your partner and a relationship just through text isn't ideally my thing. It's complicating and I don't mock it(that much) but i understand the actuality of falling for someone that you meet on here. Depends on the type of person you are i guess cuz no physical interaction with your partner kinda seems like a lost cause to me. You're missing a whole other part of the relationship.
First of all it's not just text based. Phone calls are also made, video calls as well, video messages sent, ℰ-mails. But I get what you mean. And yes the physical part of a relationship is highly important. And it is definitely lacking in this kind of relationship. But on that note it opens the door, and actually sort of forced you to get to know each other on a deeper level. There's a sense of intimacy in the exchange or thoughts and hopes and dreams. There's a bond in talking. An emotional bond. You find that you've now got a best friend and a potential life partner
But since the physical aspect is incredibly important, it is absolutely necessary that there be an end plan to these kind of relationships, you HAVE to meet up eventually. ?
