It's going to come pretty damn close to you though with 5 guys on the infield. Even outfielders don't need stamina. They do have to be fit though for sprints or diving for a ball.
I know it's hard to play because you need skill. I already admitted that. I said its not a real sport because you don't need to be athletic.
Azarah, my dad made me play from about 3-10 years old even though I told him I didn't want too. I've played before and it wasn't that hard for me. I'm not saying I could still compete with people my age who've been playing since childhood, just that I have actually played before.
Baseball takes athleticism. I wanna see you go out there and turn a bang-bang double play from shortstop.
If the pop fly is high enough that it's actually hard to catch then you've hot quite some time to get there. Again, doesn't require athleticism.
It takes no athleticism. You don't need stamina, and you don't need straight-up speed unless you're a base hitter or an outfielder. That's my argument. I never said it was an easy sport.
Sounds pretty simple. I can catch very well and I can throw a ball accurately. That's not hard at all.
I've never seen people debating on the sportiness of baseball. Let's talk about how cheerleading isn't a sport, instead. -queue the females rioting-
