  1. I've heard enough christians explain their religion mercedes.

  2. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... 42

  3. Ugh... Hand to the face. TALK TO A FRIKIN FATHER OR A PASTOR THEY UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE THE MOST...๎Ž

  4. And I should go talk to john travolta about scientology, and abu bakr al baghdadi about islam and the dalai llama?

  5. Some people say "I'm straight" as in

    "Nah I'm Good"
    "It's all good"
    Etc

He could have not been referring to homosexuality at all.

  6. I've never heard it used that way before. This isn't a personal attack on xx-pride-xx. This is an opinion piece on how I interpreted the words. And I think there isn't much ambiguity about that.

  7. When people claim they're Christian yet disagree with the bible.

  8. You may haven't have but don't always go into something assuming one thing only, yes he may have admitted because he believed you were thinking he was homosexual, especially after some of your previous threads. However you made the thread before his response. Always approach everything with "this could mean something completely different in another part of the world. Heck, sometimes one thing means something completely different 500 miles in any direction. IE One state seeing the confederate flag as southern pride, nothing to do with racism today... Others view it as much an "evil" symbol as the -๎”ŽWorld War 2 Flag here- .

Always remember the "English language" is "evolving" daily... Although with "Bae" and other terms... I actually worry about the future of literacy .

    I couldn't help myself ๎™??

  10. All these people fighting on this thread while I'm just here taking a dump and giggling at how long I've been on the toliet..

Think about the fat man on a toliet. THINK ABOUT IT!

  11. Dynamite, if someone tells me my car is on fire, I'm going to run towards it in shock and horror. Online we can't see emotions, so if it was in real life the guy might have been smiling and complimenting my car, but if someone comes online and uses colloquialisms they're dumb. At this stage I don't care what he meabt by it. I don't even care about what "he" said. I'm just talking about the words perceived the way I perceived them. I take the liberty of assuming what makes the most sense to me. And in my universe when someone sees pride linked with sin, it can mean one of only 2 things, that they see the direct correlation or they look at gay pride and religious protesters and link it through there.

  12. I take pride in my children, I have pride in my husband. Surely not all pride is sinful.

  13. Pride is a motivation as well as a reward. The brain releases endorphens when we are proud by some mechanism that I need to research, but this endorphen release can be addictive. We can do thing purely so we will be proud.
A person giving everything to charity gains immense pride in themselves.
Idk why christianity shuns this by labelling it a sin. Perhaps because it's the same pride we get when we beat everybody else single-handedly or achieve a goal. I think pride is natural and actually motivates people to do good things. But the selfish reward from the selfless act prevents it from being altruistic.

  14.
  15. Sounds like a peaceful religion

  16. He's Satan ?

  17. I'm bored and read most of this, if not all of it.

Pride is good in moderation, just as everything should be in moderation. Too much pride/bravado is bad.

Homosexuality, there is nothing wrong with this at all in its pure state. It can be abused for attention but if it is pure and true than its their choice, no one can force them to choose something differently.

For the religion aspect of this thread. The bible has never been based on truth, anyone who sees it as 100% true is just being lazy. This is a man written/made book, it can be changed to fit the writers own ambition so to take it as "God's" word is a bit too much. If you actually studied the bible you would know that there are too many contradictions and conflicting stories within the bible to be based on true events. Although some things may have happened, some stories that speak of doom have natural elements that could have caused the damage such as volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, drought, migration (birds/insects). However those stories would not be 100% true due to a lack of experience of those events and knowledge. Basically they would be exaggerations. To be a true "Christian" would be to use the bible as something to teach you lessons by giving you some guidance. Miracles are nothing more than a magic trick, just because you can't fathom how things work, doesn't mean it's a miracle.
