Philosophy: Education vs Indoctrination

  5. Through a selective curriculum and positive reinforcement via good grades we are coerced quite strongly in the education system to learn some things rather than others. But okay. I agree that some sort of heavy-handed insistence on one view point would be a marker of extreme indoctrination. But then again "the wrong answer" is always treated with an F.
    What's the F in both cases?

    Education: You're taught how you can think

    Indoctrination: You're told what to think
