It had now been two days since I had gotten out of the hospital, and I was getting tired of the constant attention. I was happy that everyone cared, but I felt fine. The weird thing is that I had never felt any pain. I hadn't felt pain while I was falling, when I was in the hospital -except when they gave me shots- or now, so the really annoying part was that my mom was always fussing over me, my dad called me almost every five minutes, and Jack was always worrying about me. The only part I liked was when my mom had to go to work so Brandy, Callie, and Kaylee came over. They would usually all come at the same time, but sometimes Callie couldn't come because she had to stay home with her little brother, Ken. I liked it when they came over because they didn't fuss over me like everyone else. I couldn't walk for a few weeks but I could stand for a few seconds. But we all got really pissed off when the doctor said that I would probably never walk again, so Brandy, Callie, and Kaylee started helping me walk again. For once, I was glad that my mom worked seven days a week. Everyday Brandy, Callie, and Kaylee would come over to my house and help me walk again. One time we almost got caught though when Callie had to bring Ken with her. I guess he heard me fall down a couple of times and wanted to see what was going on. So he opened my door just as I was about to sit down and then I fell backwards on the edge of my bed and felt something crack in my back and everything went black. ~~~~~--------------------------~~~~~ Btw, sorry Its been boring. I'm really sorry I haven't been writing but I'm back in school now and I've been really tired. I'm gonna write an update right now though.
When I woke up I knew I was back in the hospital. I didnt open my eyes yet though. I just wanted to sit there and think, but all I could think was "oh shìt! My mom is gonna want to know what happened!! Shìt! What am I gonna say?!? I'll come up with something" then I opened my eyes. Jack was on the chair next to me again, but this time he was awake. I the worry in his eyes go away. He kissed my cheek. I blushed. "So, what happened?", I asked "The doctors said that you almost broke your back somehow. So, how did you get hurt?", he asked "Well", I said, trying to think of something "Brandy, Callie, and Kaylee came over and Callie had to bring Ken with her that day and I guess he wanted to come upstairs to ask someone something, and I was leaning over to pick something up off the ground when Ken walked in and it scared me and I fell." "Ok", he said, but he didn't sound like he believed me. "So", I said "When do the doctors think I can go back to school?" "They said that you could go back to school in two weeks if you want to, but they said that you can't do P.E. or sports until you are much better", he said "Fine, but.... wait... no sports?!?", I asked. I was really upset because I run track and I had already been sitting on my butt for about a month, and when you're in track you have to run everyday to stay in shape. "No sports", he said firmly, his amazing light blue eyes looking deep into my dark blue eyes. "Fine", I sighed "Thank you", he said, looking relived that I hadn't argued with him. Then he kissed my forehead and left the room to go get dinner and I fell asleep thinking about him, and his blonde hair, and his bangs that slightly cover his beautiful eyes. And then, it hit me. I was in love!
