  1. Bumpppppppppppp

  2. I wrote an update, and it was really long and detailed and I was very happy with it, but then my iPod died and deleted it. Now I'm pissed. I'm gonna try to rewrite the update...

  3. Grace's POV
    ---~~~---~~~---
I stood outside the bank and looked at my folded up paper. The title said:
    The Escape Plan
I looked at the first line of the paper. It said:
    Money from account
I walked into the bank and looked around. I walked up to a lady who worked there and said "Excuse me..."
"Can I help you?" the lady asked in an annoyed tone
"I'm sorry to bother you," I said, trying to be polite "I was wondering if you could get all the money out of my account for me..."
The lady looked at me suspiciously. "Why all of your money?" she asked
"I'm paying for my own sweet 16," I said trying to sound excited even though I'd already had my sweet 16.
"Oh! Congrats!" the lady said cheerfully. She type a code into the computer, then asked me to put my code in. Then she pressed a button and my money came out of a hole in the counter. The lady handed me the money and said,"Good luck with your sweet 16!"
"Thanks," I said. I walked out quickly and looked back at my paper. I put a check mark by "Money from account".
I looked at the next thing on the list. It said:
    Food
I drove to the store in the extra car that Jack had gotten from his parents, and grabbed a cart. I went to the bread and cheese section first. I grabbed a few loaves of bread. Bread will last us the longest, so I needed to get a lot of it. I also got a little cheese. Then I went straight to the meat section. Jack and I liked turkey most, so I got turkey. Then I went to the canned foods section and grabbed three cans of olives. Then I grabbed three cans of pickles. I loved olives but I hated pickles. Jack loved pickles but he hated olives. I grabbed two bars of chocolate, then I walked up to the cash register. The guy looked at me.
"Is that all you eat?" he asked as he scanned the prices on the food
"No, I'm going camping and this is what I'm supposed to bring," I said.
"Oh, well, have fun," he said, and he handed helped me load the food into my cart. I stuffed the food into the car and got in. Then I looked at my list again and it said:
    Clothes
My parents weren't home when I got there. They would be at work for five more hours. They always work late on Fridays. I walked into my house and ran up the stairs to my room. I grabbed a huge suitcase out of my closet. I grabbed all my clothes and shoved them in my huge suitcase. I had to grab another suitcase down from my closet. It wasn't as big, but I fit the rest of my clothes in it. Then I grabbed a carry-on suitcase and put all my other stuff in it. When I was done, I looked around my room. It was completely empty. I had even taken the covers off my bed and taken off the mattress. I brought the mattress down first. I had a big trunk in my car, but I still had to put down the back seats to fit the mattress in. Next I went back upstairs and got my suitcases and my carry-on. I put them on top of my mattress. Then I put the blankets on top of everything. I was surprised at how much room I still had left in there. I put the food under the blankets. I walked back into my house and wrote a note for my mom and dad. The note said:

    Dear mom and dad,
I'm really sorry, but I'm leaving. Don't worry about me, I have everything I need. I don't want you to feel like it's your fault. Me leaving has nothing to do with you. I will write to you guys as much as possible, but don't try looking for me. Every time I write from somewhere, it will be the day that I'm leaving that place. I will probably send you e-mails most of the time. I will miss you guys so much!! I'm so sorry!
    Your loving daughter,
    Grace <3

I put the note on the fridge where my mom and dad would see it. My dad always gets a beer and an apple from the fridge as soon as he gets home, and my mom always gets some water and cheese. I walked out to my car and got in. Then I went to meet Jack at the park.

    Jack's POV
    -~-~-~-~-~-~
I stood outside of the bank. I looked at my crumpled up paper titled:
    The Escape Plan
    The first line said:
    Money
I stepped into the bank and a lady came up to me and said,"Can I help you sir?"
"Um, yeah," I said "I was wondering if you could get all the money out of my bank account."
The lady looked at me with surprise. "There was a girl in here earlier who asked the same thing," the lady said "Let me guess! Your her brother and your helping her pay for her sweet 16?"
I tried to look surprised. "Yes, actually, I am," I said
"That's so nice," the lady said happily. The lady went over to her desk and typed something into a computer. She asked me if I had a card. I handed it to her and she swiped it through a card scanner. She typed something into the computer again, then went behind a big door and came out with a wallet that looked like it was about to explode.
    "Wow, thanks," I said
"No problem!" the lady exclaimed. I walked out and got in my car. Then I looked at my list. It said:
    Stuff
I drove home to get my 'stuff'. I walked into my house and went up to my room. I packed all my clothes into one suitcase and all my belongings in another, smaller suitcase. I even took everything off my bed. I shoved my mattress and my suitcases into my car. Then I put the blankets in. I Went into my house and wrote a short, simple note for my parents. The note said:

    Dear mother and father,
I'm leaving. It's not you guys, it's me. I need to go out and see the world. I love you. Bye.
    -Jack
P.S. Don't try to find me. If you stay away from me, I will e-mail or write you.

Not the most touching note, but it was good enough. I walked out of my house, got into my favorite car and drove to go meet Grace at the park.

  11. Jack's POV
    -~-~-~-~-~-~
I was driving up to the park and I didn't see Grace yet, so I got out and went to sit on a bench by the lake. Only about two minutes ha passed before I heard footsteps behind me. I thought it was Grace so I started to turn around, but then Ale jumped over the bench and sat down next to me.
    "Hey Jack," she said
"What do you want?" I asked, annoyed.
"That's not a very nice way to say hi," Ale said "And I want to know where Grace lives."
"Why would I tell you that?" I asked, and I almost laughed
"True... if you don't tell me...," Ale said thoughtfully "OH! I'll kill your parents if you don't tell me!"
I laughed. "I thought you knew me better than that," I said
"Oh yeah... I forgot that you don't like your parents..." Ale said and she thought harder "I'll kill Grace's best friends! You remember Brandy, Callie, and Kaylee, right? Grace couldn't live knowing that her best friends were dead. I'll also kill Matt and Harrison!"
"Fine... Grace lives at 490 Rockford St." I said
"I knew you would tell me eventually," Ale said. She smiled, hopped over the bench and walked away.

    Grace's POV
    ---~~~---~~~---
I drove up to the park and I saw Jack's car. I was about to get out, but then I saw Ale walking up behind Jack. I froze. I saw her jump over the bench that Jack was sitting on. She sat next to him. I watched them talk for a minute or two until Ale smiled and hopped back over the bench and walked away. Jack looked over and saw my car. He smiled toward me. I slowly got out of my car, then I ran over to him. He grabbed me.
"It's ok, don't worry," Jack said.
"What were you guys talking about?" I asked
Jack said, "She wanted to know where you live and I told her..."
    "You told her?!?" I interrupted.
"No, I didn't tell her!" Jack said in a quiet yell.
"Then what did you tell her?" I asked
"I told her that you live on 490 Rockford St." Jack said, and he started to laugh.
"What's so funny?" I asked "Who lives there?"
"That's one of my parents houses," Jack said "It's the one with the really good security."
I smiled. "Nice," I said "Now, I think we should leave before Ale finds out that it's not my house..."
"I agree!" Jack said as he jumped off the bench.
I got up and walked over to my car.
"So, are we taking separate cars?" I asked.
"Yeah, but we're gonna put the clothes and food in my car. Then we're gonna put the blankets and the mattresses in your car," Jack explained.
"Ok," I said. I opened the back of my car and put my suitcases on the ground with the food. Jack put his mattress and his blankets on the ground next to my car. We both loaded everything, and then Jack showed me how to use the GPS. I got into my car and started it up. I made sure I had my phone, then I said my last good-bye and drove away.
