You can get Boxes in three different ways:
1. Complete Stories
2. Make the Leaderboard
3. Buy in the Store (limit of 1/day so at most you could buy 13)

Then opening the boxes just costs 5k Cash and you'll get sweet stuff.

 

So boxes don't drop from potd?

 

No, these boxes are a different breed. When you open your first one you will see.

How many items do you need per reward tier? Tier 1 is 500. Was this number rebalanced for the length of the hunt or are there just more tiers?

The box drops are somewhat random in that it is possible to get the rarest stuff right away. However, in general the more boxes you open the better stuff you will get (since you won't get the same item twice, once you have all the more common items the only things left are the rare ones).

 

AVIS COME FROM BOXES TOO SO

Will there be avis in the side stories? Coming from a person who never gets an avi from a box, one a day after the time spent to earn them....idk man
