I think the kicker was nobody started out with the higher titles. We were all "new members" even if we had thousands of posts.
Those were attributed to us from before the update. Only likes were new and what we needed for the better titles

I can’t remember for certain if we figured it out? But I had vaguely remembered someone else getting the Well Known title through number of comments…?

 

That's true. I feel like comment count mattered somehow but can't back it up.
