You know for my magic, can I have necromancy and for my powers can I turn into a demon at will like I asked earlier?
Yeah. Everyone will naturally get Fire, Air, Earth and Water, Necromancy for some, and everyone gets to choose a skill, so 5 in total.
Blehh. Good story. You've mixed two of my favourite things together. ^.^ Survival / Apocalypse, and Magic! Keep. Writing. This. Story!!
Josh I got into the driver seat of the 7-seater and Epic got into the passenger seat. "So... Epic, how did you get your fire magic?" I was curious. It seemed cool enough. "I don't really know... There was like this mass of those creatures on me yesterday, and I got angry. Suddenly I burst into flames, and I found out I could control fire, and start one whenever I wanted." I wasn't surprised. I just nodded once. "Why aren't you in the least bit surprised?" Epic looked at me, curious and slightly pissed. "Same thing happened to me earlier... I found out I could control light and conjure weapons... In any case, where are we headed?" Epic thought for a while. "How about we head to Austria? It's probably too cold in Switzerland, and I doubt you wanna return to France..." It seemed reasonable. I was still exhausted from earlier, the burst of light seemed to drain energy from me... What was all this? How did I conjure a weapon? How was there an aura around me? What in the world was happening? As I slowly drove past the ruins and façades of Pisa, a symbol on a rock caught my attention... Three vertical strokes, all slightly slanted... It seemed so familiar... It was as if I knew the symbol, but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't remember what it was... I stopped the car, climbed out and walked towards the symbol, much to the surprise of Epic. He followed me out, and so did Jodiiee and Qin. I walked up to the red rock, which was red probably because of it's iron content. I thought hard... What was it? "What is it Josh?" Jodiiee asked, fear and worry in her voice. I thought hard. Then a sharp pain hit me, in my head. My head throbbed, and I twisted in agony. Thoughts raced through my mind... All too fast for me to register... And then I saw a word. In hurting, bright white lines. Dix Involuntarily, I exclaimed the word out loud. "Dix" In one voice, all of us said the same thing. "Ten" And as if there were a force pulling me the sign, my arm was raised and I placed it against the symbol. A white, blinding light enveloped us.
Jodiiee "What's happening?" cried Qin. "Hold hands!" shouted Epic. "What?" yelled Josh. We were all shouting at each other because of this loud, screeching noise ringing through our ears. "Hold. Everyone's. Hand! And don't let go! repeated Epic again. "It's a gateway, it'll take us somewhere. Trust me." We all held hands and had to close our eyes, the light was so blinding. All of a sudden I was lifted off the ground, still spinning, still with my eyes closed. I had hold of Qin and Josh's hands, the gravitational pull was pulling them both different directions, so I had to battle against gravity and keep them on the same wavelength as me, hoping they would do the same with Epic. It felt like we were falling and spinning for ages.. Eventually we landed, painfully on a concrete floor. It hurt, alot. We all slowly got up, all clutching our eyes, back, head, everywhere that hurt. Josh helped me and Qin up to our feet and we took in our surroundings. "Woah.." said Qin out loud. It was very 'woah' indeed. The ceiling had so much detail, angels, swirls and loads of different patterns were marked at the top. The stained glass windows were fitted so perfectly, the glass so clean, with a picture of the female sign on it. It was so bizarre to have such a picture on such a nice window, but then again, so was this whole situation. There were books amongst books amongst even more books. It must of been one of those old ancient libraries where you have to have them ladders to reach the top just to pick a book. "This place is huge.." said Josh startled. I nodded in agreement. We all walked around precariously like little lost puppies, we didn't know what to do, or where we were. For an old library, the amazing thing was the floor. It was made from real gold marble. The design continued up all the wall onto the walls. It was defiantly one of the most amazing things I had seen. "So let me get this straight..." said Josh putting his hands to his head. "There was what? This, this.. Thing! That comes outta the blue, practically blinds us! And then, we appear in this place! Whats going on?!". You could tell he was getting stressed out. "That thing you went through? That was a teleporter.." said a voice. We all looked around to see who spoke to us. "And you probably came here for a reason.." said another voice. "Show yourself!" shouted Epic. From the corners of the room, two young lads came out. We all stood in silence as they walked towards us. "Don't worry we mean no harm.." said one. "Infact we were hoping you could help us" said the other. We all looked at each other, waiting for someone to respond to the boys. "Uhm, sure." I said eventually. "Great! Thanks. Sorry we should introduce ourselves. I'm Fletch, and this is my best friend, Otto." he said, smiling. "I'm Jodiiee, and this is Qin, Josh, and Epic" I said, pointing them out. "Nice to meet you" they all said. "So what can we do to help?" asked Josh. "Well it's not specifically you that needs to help.." said Otto. "It's more the girls" said Fletch, finishing off his sentence. Me and Qin looked confused. "Come with us, we'll show you what we mean.." said Otto. We followed the two lads around the library, still taking in our ancient surroundings. "So, you guys been here long?" asked Epic, as we continued following them. "Probably around a day.." replied Fletch. "We've been trying to get out, but we can't" "That's why we need you.." said Otto, turning around to me and Qin. Next to him was a golden stand, with a golden thick, dusty (probably ancient) book. And to the right of him, was a golden plaque, hoisted up on the center of the wall. On the plaque was writing, with the words: "La Jeune Fille Qui Sait Tout" Otto and Fletch looked up at the plaque. "We've been trying to figure out what it says." said Otto. "We think it's French though" continued Fletch. "It is" I said. "It means The Girl Who Knows All". Everyone turned to look at me. "What? I studied French.." I said. "Alright!" said Fletch rubbing his hands together. "Well, we're getting there. Next is this book" said Fletch stepping up to the golden book. "Again, we've tried having a look but we don't know whats trying to be said.." he continued. "It kinda.. Blanks our memory for a second, even if we try to read it" admitted Otto. "Weird.." muttered Epic. "Well, let's just think about this for a minute.." said Josh. "Surely if the plaque reads "The Girl Who Knows All", then it should be the girl who reads the book?" Everyone turned to look at me, again. "Stop doing that!" I said. "Go for it." said Epic, patting me on the back. He must of thought he did that lightly, but he didn't. "Now.. We don't know what's gonna happen, but just try you're best to read it and well.. We'll go from there" grinned Fletch. I stood next to the golden book and looked over at Josh and Qin. They both smiled at me, Josh had a little look of worry in his face, but I just smiled back. I put my hands on the book and suddenly my body started feeling weird. It started to feel like electricity was running through me, like I had energy. Now I had to read..
