Jodiiee I woke up slowly. My eyes struggling to adjust to the light and everything around me. I started to realize that I wasn't outside anymore, I was in someone's house, in a bedroom, in someone else's bed. It creeped me out. "Hey.." said Josh gently. He was sitting on the floor next to the bed. I looked around the room, wondering where the voice was coming from, and i finally found him. "..Hi" I replied. He got up and did one of the biggest stretches I've ever seen in my life, and then walked over to where I was. "What you did back then.. Was incredible.." he said, sitting down next to me. "I try.." I replied, a small smile formed on the side of my face. Josh smiled with me. "So, where is everyone? Are you all okay? How's Qin? I asked, suddenly remembering the whole situation we were stuck in. "Everyone's fine.." he said. "We couldn't wake you up so we decided to find a house so you could rest... And.. Hopefully wake up.. Which you did." he said beaming. I smiled again. "Well, thank you" I said. It was Epic who called up the stairs to us. "GUYS?! THE SUNS GONE DOWN, TIME TO HIT THIS BEACH!" he yelled up to us. I looked up questiongly at Josh. "The beach?" I asked him. "Why're we going there?" "Oh, well.. We all need showers. Whilst you were asleep we tried every single shower in every single house, and absolutely none of them work! So we're heading down to the beach now so we can have a little swim and get clean." he said, giving me a little grin. "Oh, sure. But what about them creatures, won't they be out?" I asked concerned and confused. "Nah, they only come out at sunrise and sunset so, we should be ok" he laughed. "Ok" I said, giving him a half-hearted laugh. We still couldn't find a car and had to walk on foot all the way to the beach, but that was nothing compared to all of the walking we had done previously. We eventually got to the beach, smiles forming on all of our faces. The gentle breeze blew on my face, making my eyes prickle. I breathed in a big sigh of relief that everyone was safe and that we all had each other. As I sat myself down on the sand I thought that from now on, nobody's going to be left behind. The incident with Jerry will never happen with anyone amongst our group, ever again. We were going to survive this, all of us were. I watched everyone all laughing and messing around in the sea. I tried to focus on everyone, but my eyes kept on drifting back to Josh. I watched the way he swam, the way his muscles showed up everytime he moved his arms, or did a little stretch. I had never met anyone like him before, I'd never had such strong feelings towards someone, it made me confused and happy at the same time. I woke myself up from my daydream by the sound of my name being called in the distance. It was Josh. "Jodiiee! Are you coming in?" he called. "Sure, I'll be over now!" I called back. The water was unbelievably cold, but I eventually got used to it, and within minutes I was swimming with everyone. It was a good laugh. We swam underwater, jumped over waves, did things that everyone usually does. I think it made us all feel that there was nothing wrong with our lives, our earth.. This was bliss. But for how long?..
Josh was busy.. And we'll try and think of ways to add you in Cyber, it's just a bit harder when he's 7 hours ahead.
