-I smile pulling her up behind me. I tap my heels to the horses flanks and set it off into a gentle canter-

 

- I wrap my arms around sal and rest my head on his back, watching everything go by -

 

-I blush feeling her arms around me. I smile glad for her company. I pull my hood up concealing my face. My eyes dart back and forth. These roads are notorious for bandits.-

 

- I think about everything that happened yesterday, I found out that they don't want rivalry just as much as I don't, I found out a princess in the infinity family is an assassin, and I met sal...-

 

-My horse whinnies quietly in warning that something is there. I gently touch his he's calming him-

"Good boy..."

-I speak one word knowing my hood will hide my lips-

"Where?"

-The ranger horse trained to act as he does points his head to the left in the trees. I move only my eyes to give no indication. I see a slight movement. I speak another word to the horse-

"Release."

-The horse goes back to acting normally. I whistle three ascending notes and wait for a reply. Three descending notes answer in the direction my horse pointed and I sigh in relief knowing its one of my men.-

 

(head*)

 

-I hear sal whistle and someone whistle back... Probably some ranger thing-

 

-I smile-

"Sorry about that...You can never be too careful."

 

That's true

- I miss riding horses but I can't since I ran away on my horse and they couldn't find me for a week, also cuz I broke my arm multiple times when bandits tried attacking me -

 

-I smile going into thought. I think about how Karina listened to me and actually cared when I told her what I went through. I also found myself pondering why I trusted her with my biggest secret. She was instantly likable. I didn't even trust Luke with the secret. I come up with only one possible answer why I was so willing to share it with her. I like her...."

 

-She lies by the road with Carter and smiles-

 

- I think about sal and how I was the first to know his secret, and how he asked me if I wanted to do something later, and his laugh....-

 

"Carter...."

 

Jacob: *arrives at castle, and see's noone, so he starts to walk home*

 

-I picture her smile in my head. That blasted smile that seems to just draw me into her eyes. It's contagious. It would surely brighten up any room or make anyone's day better. I see her castle come into view-

 

Jacob: *walks home to his house*

-I see my castle and become nervous, I have no idea how my parents are going to react-
