To some it does. Like myself for example. I can’t stand the smell of dog

 

Don't eat food from one store in another store.

It wasn't rlly a rule, just something I do out of respect. I never thought it was weird until I was out with some friends and we got something to eat, and I ate the food outside while they went in and they were like 'wyd?'

 

No ice cream after 7pm. I had a rough childhood.

 

I wasn't allowed to go to convince stores. They don't sell anything you need.

 

This isn't a childhood rule-BUT!! My family is superstitious and I couldn't whistle at night or clap.

 

At my grandparents house, I wasn’t allowed to touch the microwave. My grandfather had this whole issue with microwaves and never could work it when they first came out, so he thought I’d blow something up

Only rule at my moms house was to not go near or play in the swamp

 

Never pet the animals during an thunderstorm

 

Why would u make it grey? I thought there was smthing wrong w my phone

O i did that one, too. I was told it's "respect for the dead" or some nonsense like that

 

My grandma believed that lighting would strike us if we pet them

 

Well yes, 2 reasons
1- ‘respect’ or they can’t breath so why should we
2- you might breath in a spirit and in turn have one living inside of you, wether you call that being possessed or just having a mate hanging out in your body who knows

 

Have never heard the second one but i find it hilarious
