Otto sat on the roof waiting. The others sat on a nearby roof. The specific roof Otto sat on was the biggest, most flat roof. Only because it was magnified by magic. Everything outside and below the roof was protected. Today's fight would go like this: Only Otto vs. Zach, and obviously it was going to be a fight to the death. These, Otto knew somehow, would be Zach's conditions. So he set up this roof. It would block them both off until there was a winner. Otto could not wait. He already knew the outcome of the battle. He had Roy and Fletch on standby. The rest of the team laughed when Otto suggested Roy. He was very weak. But they did not know him in the days of the War. He was more powerful than all of them combined. Cyber could not absorb even half of his true power without being overwhelmed. Otto had no idea what would happen after he would be gone. He hoped Roy and Fletch would be enough. He also debated on giving in to Black Panther once again. As Black Panther he felt his limits would never stop. He felt so free. And his life or death may depend on his one choice: be overtaken or be killed.
The others were getting impatient with the wait. This was now the second day of their waiting. And yet Otto has not moved from the spot. Hasn't eaten for 36 hours now since they started waiting. The others did not leave either. They felt that if they went off to eat they'd miss history happening. Stewie, being the only one who didn't care, was the one running back and forth for food. 10 more hours passed like this. Then, at the crack of dawn, the lone figure appeared. Otto, sensing his presence slowly opened his eyes. "So, where were you injured?" asked Otto with a slight smirk. "It was a rather large wound. I do not want to talk about it. How did you know about it?" Zach frowned. He did not enjoy showing his weakness. He was completely healed now, but that was the reason for his slight delay. "Oh, I had a member of Torchwood monitor you. Captain Jack sent me a last-minute message." "Harkness? He was there? So did I finish him, or is he still up and running?" "Who knows? Anyway, I believe you will agree to my terms." Otto stated them, and swore in one of the many ways that he was telling the truth. "Couldn't have put it better myself." said Zach, and stepped inside the barrier. "let the fight begin. If you kill me, I may let you see my face. Deal?" "Why would I need to see your face?" "Oh trust me. You will know if you survive. I will have fun torturing you in the meanwhile. Tell me though, have you ever met your father? His face as he died... Priceless." "You. You murdered my parents? You caused Taylor much pain. I did not care. I could survive by myself. Taylor with me was hard. I could only practice while she was asleep, and struggled not to wake her up. If not for you, we'd be happy." "Ah, your sister. Do you even realise she's not yours? She is your step-sister. Not actually related." Zach laughed. Causing Otto distress was fun. He then was picked up off the ground by an uppercut to the chin. He fell to the floor, still smiling. "Finally. The host has broken his rules of hospitality. Now this gets real..."
Can I come with a van with a talking monkey driving it, and have the monkey say, "we gotta go. We gotta go. We gotta go."
Two updates within two days time! That's more than enough. "For God's sake get some perspective woman!" -DW
It's ok Otto. I almost did before. I actually had to look at threads to remember that it's different.
Zach wiped the blood from his mouth, and flicked it off. "Now tell me honestly. How easy should I take it on you? I won't go lower than 70." "If only I cared about power level. Choose. Your discretion. Either way one of us dies. Will it bring me more or less honor if I died while you were at 50%? Neither. Nobody can gauge energies unless they are inside this thing. And it wouldn't matter anyway. Death, in itself, is a disgrace. It shows our weakness. It means that we lose. Permanently. No chance of return." "Well said, Otto. Well said." "That's... The first time you actually used my name. Why now? Usually you address me in anyway but polite." "You deserve my respect. Before, you were just another kid in my way. But now I respect you as a person. Which makes me want to win even more. I would hate for you to find out in that way..." "Find what out?!?! What way?!?! ZACH!!! Tell me! NOW!!!!" "Nothing of your concern. We have a fight if you hadn't forgotten. Let's fight then... 100%!!!" "Alright. I'm fine with that." Zach jumped forward, and punched Otto in the face. Otto spun from the punch. He hit the ground hard. Stuck out his hand, and slammed down on it to regain his original balance. The traction made his hand bleed. Otto jumped toward Zach, springing forward like a cat. In his eyes was blackness. His hair started turning from bright-white to gray. One kick to Zach's face. The kick sent Zach flying into the barrier. A slight chip, barely noticeable, appeared on the barrier. Zach decided to hike it up. He took darkness magic and formed it into a sword. Otto formed his own. They dived for each other. The swords collided with the same clang that any regular sword would have made. Another clang. In this way they danced for a while. And then Otto's arm came off. Zach cut it with the darkness blade. And not only did the arm come off, but, as it left the body, it withered to pieces. Otto looked at the hand, uncaring. Then something in his eyes and hair changed. They became light again. He looked at the stump that was now his right arm with regret. The arm withered, so regeneration wasn't possible. Then Otto lost it again. His hair turned completely black, black spikes came out of his arm. The stump was surrounded by Darkness to replicate a hand. His face itself became more animal-like, his fangs grew out of his mouth extremely long. A ball of darkness protruded from his mouth. Zach smiled, but gulped, and wiped the sweat off his brow. This was going to be semi-problematic.
