Ok. So yeah, I did quit, but then I realized how unfair it was to the few people who read this. So I am back. Just to write, seeing as there's nothing else here without fletch.
Zach stood on the roof of a building overlooking the Big Ben. He already saw how Europe's best sorcerers gathered around the tower. He had, in fact, already announced his presence to all of London. The panic that rose pleased him highly. Hill and the others stood behind him. It was Hill who teleported them. His powers were very weak though, and he could only teleport great distances only once per week. Which is why he waited for Zach in NYC. Royale was at the head of the army that was now facing the four of them. Zach was more worried about Roy than the rest, seeing as Roy was so much stronger than Hill. Roy was the #10 top sorcerer. That wasn't much of a challenge for Zach though. He checked to make sure that his hood still covered his face. He had never shown his face to anyone before, and he was not about to break that habit. As he dwelled on these things a green beam shot into the sky. Several other beams joined it. Zach was fearful for the first time. He had heard of Torchwood Institution before, and knew why it was created and by whom, and it's purpose. He also knew that it destroyed entire alien battleships. He stepped forward, gathering his strength. 100% this was his first time using this much power. Entire buildings started to crumble around him. The Beams met, there was a crackle, and the beams that now combined to one raced for Zach. He jumped towards the Beam. The two met. There was a huge explosion. The Beam disappeared, and Zach's body fell to the ground. He was badly burned, and maybe dead. Roy sent one of his subordinates to check his pulse. The poor guy was inches from Zach's arm when his eyes rolled back and he fell back, foaming at the mouth. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS THIS?!?!?!" Roy yelled, taken aback at these events. "HE'S ALIVE!!! ATTACK HIM NOW!!! TORCHWOOD IS DONE! THAT BLAST WAS DRAGGED OUT FOR TOO LONG!!! GO GO ATTACK!!!!" but they were too late. Zach had regained consciousness, and his three subordinates joined the fray as well. It seemed to be the end of the world... At least for London, it was.
Erebus pinned the creature down to the ground. It opened its mouth to fire the killing blow. "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" yelled Sam. He could no longer do it. Why he was being so sentimental today he did not know. Something in that kid's eyes reminded him of his past. A girl maybe? Someone he used to love? Then the old memories arose again, and his fury grew. Once again, he wanted to rip Apoc apart. And then he remembered something else. Like a distant memory. A girl sat in a tree. He looked across the hill. The girl jumped down. "What are you doing here?" she asked nicely "Nothing, I was looking for someone, but I guess I won't meet him here again." "Your friend? On our estate? That's strange. Everyone fears this place because of my brother, but ok... If you say so." The next thing he remembered was fighting Otto, and sealing his powers away. Sam could have sworn he saw the same tree in the distance, and the little girl sitting on the branch. Apoc was then congratulating him on the sealing of Otto's powers. Then he remembered fighting for the first time with Erebus, using it against Apoc in his transformed form. Eventually the memories spun out of controll, flashing by his eyes until his memories finally caught up with current events. The realization he came to was that he was good. He was actually good. And with that thought, and also that of forgotten Love, he fell to his side with a smile. Epic meanwhile, recovering from the drawbacks of using The Creature by himself. He walked over to P's body, fell to his knees, and started crying. His brother was now gone. He felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to face Otto, tears still running down his face. "I'm sorry. I really am. I just want you to know that it was not Sam who did that. It was the creature. Erebus. He cannot control it by himself, just like you could not control yours by yourself. But his has a consciousness. It is alive. Which is why we should fear it. But he's smiling right now, meaning the anger that riddled his soul has gone. He will turn to us, I believe." "I-I REALLY DO NOT GIVE A FÛCK ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY!!!! SO WHAT IF HE'S GOOD NOW? SO WHAT IF HE CAN'T CONTROL IT? MY BROTHER IS DEAD GONE!!! FOREVER!!! SO UNLESS YOU CAN BRING HIM BACK FROM THE DEAD, IM NOT INTERESTED!!!!" Otto stormed away. This was why he tried not to care about his men. Everyone dies. Always. Everyone except him. He was always exceptionally lucky. Or was it something else he was experiencing? (flashbacks were done from memory, in memory of chewbacca's Origins Of Samuel Portman. Some scenes were changed completely, some obviously shortened. If you want to read it, it can be bumped.)
Okay. For all of you who are excited about Otto and Sophie's new relationship: don't be... I have read through my works and this does not work. I have made many other rushed mistakes that any fan could easily spot, but this one is fatal 1. Sophie and Otto barely ever(if at all) talked to each other 2. Her character does not match with the girl that I love. 3. Otto should not have a relationship before he meets his maker.
