"I want to go somewhere." "What?" I looked at Adam from across the kitchen table. His movements showed signs of confusion and disbelief. "What do you mean? Why would you want to go somewhere? Did Maria tell you....." "Yes I did," I said Maria as se entered. "It's sweet what you're doing for her... but she can't just stay indoors 24/7. She needs to go out and enjoy herself... She'll only become depressed if she doesn't." "I agree with her," I said. "I don't want to be upset about my baby... I want to start over." Adam sighed and he opened the newspaper. "I see what you're saying. Where would you like to go?" he asked as he flipped to the Economics section. He looked up at me and raised an eyebrow. "Anywhere. I just don't want to be here." "Alright. We can go to the park... Take a walk or something." I smiled. "That sounds nice." He smiled too. "We'll share some quality time as husband and wife," he said and then he laughed. "Just kidding. But seriously... I'm sure it'll be fun." My heart skipped a beat. I felt my face grow hot and I quickly stood up from the table. How could he not see? Was he that blind not to notice...? "Arianna?" "Adam you idiot!" I shouted and I quickly ran upstairs and sat on my bed. Frustrated, I kicked a book on the floor and fell back onto my bed. There was a knock on the door. "Go away..." "Arianna it's Maria... I want to talk to you." I sighed and I went to the door and opened it. I went back and say on my bed and she did the same. "You love him... truly. Don't you?"
