  2. soul I hear ya.

My thing simply is if there are 24 hours in a day, and your semi close to it being midnight, say like 22 out of the 24 hours have passed, for me that close enough to say it's almost midnight.

  3. I barely use the word midnight. I mean, its only midnight for one minute right? But yea I agree, after 11 is close.

  10. Midnight= 12:00 AM.

    Almost midnight- Past 11:30 PM

    Not close- Before this one

That's what I pretty much go for, but most of the time I'll just say the exact time, ya know?

  11. Rounding 11:45pm would mean j would say 'bout 12am! but since its 11:07 pm i would consider it being 11pm

  14. I hate you all. 22/24 hours in a day gone by is almost midnight. In fact, I'm such an optimist, it's almost midnight right now. 

  15. What about 12 and 1am? Do you say its 12:18 at night? Or morning. I never heard its 1 at night. 1 in the morning sounds like the only answer.

  16. Very true, simply is it very late or very early? Maybe it just depends if you've been to sleep yet or not. And even though it's only 745am, I still say it's almost midnight.  no I do not like admitting defeat.

  17. ain no gramma gonna be ere wit me N 11pm i say is closer to midnit.

  18. almost midnight to me is at least 11:45 pm.

    corse can also be corset

  19. 11:30 p.m. and later is "almost midnight." Between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m. is "like, 11."

It's just like rounding a decimal point. Anything larger than .5 (halfway through 11 would be 11:30) gets rounded up to the next whole number. Anything smaller than .5 gets rounded down. At least, that's how I look at it. 
