Let syria slaughter its own people. They havent hurt an American so its none of our business. If the rest of the world has such a problem with it let them stop it. Let them send thier soldiers in to die. America is done protecting the world, youre own your own. Im not putting my life on the line for a syrian civil war. I swore to support and defend the US constiution and her people, not Syrias. If stuff gets way out of hand and we do have to step in it should be with nuclear weapons.
I live in a european country not far from Syria, just across the Mediterranean Sea. You guys can't imagine what Europe also is going through because of that civil war, countries that can't sustain themselves have to host fugitives from Syria. You think that taking military action would solve the problem, but then Europe would have to collect the crumbles of that war and give hospitality to all Syrian fugitives, cos of course United States would come, bomb, go and let others clean the rubbish but not take Syrians into the US isn't it? So, definitely no military action. A peaceful solution must be found. I am sick of having war fugitives in my country becoming criminals, thank you
I agree with Kun. Its Europes problem. Let them deal with it and clean it up. None of the US's business.
1 million refugees in my opinion is enough for the international community do something now that they're/or have used chemical weapons is more reason
As has been said before, leave them alone to perfect there weapons and then what? Who will they use their weapons on after they are done with their own people?
SlurpingRedNeck, Syria isn't part of Europe and none of Europe's business. You really didn't get my message nor know much political geography. If the USA want to take action they'll have to take all the rubbish that follows with it. Fugitives included, take them to the USA, give them a house and a job and don't offload the rubbish in Europe. Already Algerian, Tunisian, Lybian, Iraqi and Kurds wars have brought unwanted (although unlucky) immigrants to Europe. I don't remember the US worrying about it, tho in many of these countries US bombs where dropped
They have nothing that can reach the US so not our problem. Plus, when ever someone says the international community its always 90% US troops. Im sick of going to war to protect you people. I joined the military to protect my country, my people, and our way of life. I didnt join to police the world.
Kun, i know geography quite well. Ive been shot at in 2 of the countries you mentioned. What i was saying is the US should stay out of it. If Syrias chemical weapons or refugees affect Europe, then its Europes problem and they can deal with it. Leave the US military out of it.
Same way the US should learn to stay away from most of other countries issues rather than go trigger happy as they always did. Since all the times your army took action and never took fugitives, expecting Europe to sort it out I guess there is something wrong with the way USA plans military actions AND consequential issues. Nothing personal
I agree with foot. People are being killed and you want nothing to do with it? I understand US soldiers don't need to risk their lives but what? Sit around and let them kill all the civilians? Gas them? Kill all the children? And for all we know bring an attack on Israel? Somebody has to step up.
Do you not understand that Syria is based on a dictatorship? How the fuck do you solve a problem like this by sitting down and negotiating with his own people when he's killing them off 1 by 1?
