Same here casper when my life turned upside down i had my friends near me aswell they all tried to.be there for me then all the sudden one by one walked out they never last they always leave u for a someone who is better
Caring only about money makes you selfish? What about life? Does caring for life make you selfish? Who are you to decide what makes people selfish and what not?
Choosing money over someone is selfish if ur parents prefered making a living then looking after you and making u suffer and not teach u whats right and wrong thrn that is selfish!

Your parents gotta work to keep a roof over your head and food in your mouth. My parents were gone a lot but I'm thankful they used all their money for us (entire family). Sure they obsessed over money but cuz they wanted to make sure they could get us anything possible. Which I'm thankful for. While I was working I let them borrow $25,000 because they were in need of money and they haven't paid me back and I'll let them borrow 25,000 more and that wont even be 1/10th of what I owe them for everything they've done for us. If that's not what ur referring to and your parents dont care about you and dont buy you all this shit to make you happy, then my comment is not directed towards you. But still.
My parents do get me what i want thats not my point thats the problem they try to buy love they cant come and give a hug and tell u they were to happy for u its just like here take a hundred dollars and shut up whats the point of having so much money if ur parents cant even be there for u when.u need them
Life. You need water, food, clothes and shelter in order to live. In order to have these thing you work to make money to pay for them. You work, work, work, and get greedy so you do overtime and try to become rich. Once you become rich you think your god until one day you die and all that worthless paper you spent your entire life chasing is nothing to you anymore. The paper, the cars, the houses and everything ells stays behind after your gone. Lesson: it does not matter if your rich or poor we all end up going to the same place. Internal darkness or such a place as heaven or hell. Therefore don't waste your life chasing stupid worthless paper. All you need is enough for water, food, shelter and to support your family so that they don't starve or freeze to death. Work a little don't work a lot. You gain more from working short shifts earning just about enough to live and spending a lot of time with your loved ones than to chase the money and hardly spend time with your loved ones. Thats a lesson on life from me to you. Your welcome.

I owe my mom and my friends my life. When my car got stolen my friends were there to help me. When my house burned that same week, those same friends were there to help until I got money to fly out to my moms house. I could never thank my mom enough for letting me move back into her house. Best thing that can be said is choose your friends wisely. Anyone who is the popular type of person, where do you think those friends are gonna be in the future? I'd still be homeless out there, and I most likely wouldn't have graduated college. I owe my friends and my mom my life
