It's sad to see someone ask for suicide advice or even, simple mention that tgey are thinking about it. I've never been in that situation where i've wanted to end my life, so i cannot relate. However, i've known many people who were thinking about suicide at some point. And they kept it bottled up, to the point they had to say something, or they would act on their thoughts. For most people, simply talking about it to a person they love, or a complete stranger, is enough to sway them off suicidal thoughts. Perhaps some do it for attention, but equally some are crys for help, and if an online game is the only way to reach out, then so be it. The least people could do, as kitty did, is give them a helpline number or write them something positive, for the sake of a few minutes, you could save a life.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I messaged him last night on another app while I was panicking and he responded late at night. He's alright, and I will be talking with him about this situation. For those of you wondering, he does see a therapist weekly. He has attempted to commit before. He's vented to me about wanting to kill himself for a while. I'm not going to get into the details. If you are really giving him tips on this thread, you're wasting time. He does not read forums. Please get off my thread if you're going to leave irrelevant comments. Thank you to the people leaving kind comments, and not trying to start an argument.
