There is no such thing as a utopian society. It's something I have wished for many times over. If you have read The Giver you will understand that it can't be. I'm all peace, love and happiness. I believe strongly that it can exist if we as a whole would give up on the grudges and the violence. But it is in our blood. Even the most pure of us cannot build a utopian society. I, naively believe that all are born good and not evil. But even the most blessed have their moments. To build the utopian world would require us to give up freedoms and personal beliefs, which in turn totally defeats the purpose of utopia. So it couldn't be true utopian society at all, now can it?
My wish is similar to yours Jason. Added onto that, domestically utopian as well as the globally. If it were that way, there are loved ones of mine that wouldn't have left this world in such brutal ways. Or some could've gotten better healthcare then the crappy one they were given. I've lost people to war, and here at home in horrid ways. It seems selfish to want them back for myself, but it should've never happened to them. No one deserves it, but that's just how it is I guess. It never hurts to just wish our world was utopian in every nook and cranny of it. Cause no child deserves to be raped and murdered, no elder with poor health should be ignored by their own doctor cause the hospital couldn't afford to take care of them, and no spouse/fiancé and parent deserves to receive news that their soldier will not be making it home alive. There is so much wrong all you can do is remember them, that is what I do. I remember my nieces' beautiful smile and her happy approach she took on life. I remember how my grandfather always had endless love for everyone and always seen light in everything that happened. I remember everything about Cam, the child we lost while he was gone, and all the plans we had for when he returned...that never happened. All I can do is move on and wish for a better future and hopefully to take part in changing it so that the past doesn't repeat itself for others.
That made me cry Chrissy!! I miss devyn everyday of my life he was my fiance that died in Iraq. I never got to say goodbye to him and people cast off the fact that there are still soldiers dying in war. They're over there fighting for our country and no one cares. Yea todays society is all bout greed and what they own! It would be nice for that to happen. dammit I can't quit crying now thanks mistress. Lol.
I just want peace and happiness too. No such thing as a sad person. No suicide, no starvation, no abuse. Just 100% pure happiness
