Not every artist sounds good when are they perform live.(But some actually do sound great when they are live) Recording a song for the radio and singing it live are two different things.

actually there are not many singers that can sing good live.

 

I've never been to a concert that I was like, "Wow, they sounded horrible live."

So....don't know what concerts y'all are going to.
When I seen 1D they were beyond amazing vocally.
I thought they sounded way better than the CD.

John Mayer is another one who will blow you away live. He plays some outstanding guitar too.
