No rules being broken if no names are being dropped. Thread just trying to push the point that mods should be held up to more professional standards then using powers to silence people over pettiness. Also I personally love knowing I have friends who support my ideas! And I'm all here for this one ?
I think you've mistaken me for actually caring about the specifics on y'all's little drama situation. I don't. I'm not personally invested and I don't care to be. In fact, I wouldn't have known there was apparently a specific incident that caused this thread without someone saying there was a specific incident. But that also doesn't mean others here won't start asking questions about it. That's what happens on a public thread. If it's supposed to remain a private situation like you are insinuating and you aren't going to share details, then it should have remained private by not posting on a public forum. Help tickets would have remained private and gotten ATA's direct attention on the matter.

I didn't say this thread was breaking rules. I was saying nominations (and thus a poll), aka the idea being suggested here, would be breaking the rules. Also, I agree that having friends support you is important and I am not against that. I'm just saying a few more words than just "support" and maybe sharing why you support the idea, besides the fact that you're friends with the one suggesting it. It makes your support seem more valid if ATA were to view this. I didn't realize this was a rant about silences, but that isn't allowed either actually if that is what this is. Threads that rant about silences get locked for breaking FCoC. I had thought this was just a community suggestion and was simply giving my feedback on it and then replying to people's replies to me. That's kind of how a forum works. I mean, I am personally upset with some of my silences and dislike people on the moderator team. But I have sent in my help tickets and either gotten the silences sucessfully appealed or gotten them confirmed that they were valid. And then I moved on.

What I said was that I'm not interested in the specific situation that prompted this thread. I am interested in building off of OP's idea, and even said that I agree with OP to an extent lol.
I think people are valid in having a reasonable expectation of accountability from their mods. No one wants to constantly be silenced for invalid reasons and asking for mods that take that seriously isn't an insane request idg why yall keep going back n forth on such a simple issue
Not caring about the backstory of a thread =/= not caring about the content of a thread and providing feedback on the idea shared, which I was doing. "Bad" feedback is still feedback. No it wasn't because I replied to OP. I didn't "quote" you, or "send" it to you if that's the term you prefer. All you said was "support" so there wasn't really anything of substance to respond to.
