  1. Anything new would be greatly appreciated

  2. she prefers learning slowly after all

  3. Pixie's situation is unique and it doesn't normally happen.

As for your second point, you seem to be under the impression that conflicts don't occur in games and they have to be physical. Moderators often get hated on for one reason or another (or perhaps no reason at all), and this thread is a perfect example of that. We get farmed and get called out for things we may or may not have done. How we conduct ourselves in situations like these and how we respond is what they're interested to see.

Thirdly, activity is an important aspect of being a moderator. Ideally we want to have at least one moderator on at all times to catch all the violations. Reasonably, however, there will be times where none of us are on and offenders slip free. It happens. Do you actually have to see a moderator around for them to be acting on actionable offenses? They may be lurking on world chat or checking out reports by players on their wall. Just because you don't see any green around doesn't mean they're not actually around.

There are many differing opinions on how long a player should be active before he/she is qualified to apply to be a moderator. The reason behind having any time frame at all is so that players who quickly lose interest in the game can be weeded out so that time isn't wasted in processing their application only to find that they're no longer active. It is partly also to be more assured that the players actually know the game they play. Of course, this isn't foolproof. I know players who know the game and its mechanics like the back of their hand in a few weeks and others who after 3 years still don't quite know how this game works simply because they're not interested to learn. This isn't a difficult game to play and it certainly does not require the average player 6 months to learn how to play.

It would be foolish to suggest that the activity levels of the players who have been selected were not checked prior to them being modded, and I'm not merely referring to an award on their profile that doesn't even say all that much about a player's activity at all.

Lastly, not all rules and their corresponding action to be taken are hard and fast. There are many gray areas which are not covered in the guidelines because it would be impossible to do so. It's not unreasonable for a veteran moderator to know better than a new one what to do when certain situations arise. It would however be unreasonable to expect a new moderator to be able to make decisions as decisively as a veteran despite the lack of experience and on the first day of the position. ?️️

  5.
  6. speaking of activity, rachellgorgeous been a mod for over a year and shes barely active or around

  7. Hmmm speaking of how mods conducts themselves....does throwing a tantrum when people disagree with you count, like one particular mod did on here last night?

As you mention, people will comment about your actions so screaming about 'having some damn respect' and making comments at the level I'd expect from my kids doesn't really show an effective way of dealing with pressure. Just my thoughts.

  8. 'You are soooooo cool. Just kidding'

If that doesn't scream underage then I don't know what does casp

  9. Mods are 18 year old kids. Dont expect any maturity from them.

Perhaps kaw mods should come here and moderate for a week under Kaw TOU.

That would clean up this cestpool quickly.
