ive been playing this game for 4 years, and i dont even know these new mods.. except for honey, and stars. It would have been better if the mods had experience on Pimd past and histories.. or at least if the community seen them around, not just simply because now they are modded, they'll be showing their faces here and there. Or honor students could be the next mod, they deserved it more, especially Jiggy..

This is just my honest opinion. It's not meant to intentionally offend or hurt anyone, and if it does, I'm sorry. First, I have to say congrats to the new mods! It's an honor and a privilege for them and I hope to see them on WC and/or forums soon. I for one and very pleased there are new/more mods because there are definitely some people on WC who need to be silenced but there isn't a mod on at the time. However, there are things that have been said on forums that I agree and disagree with about the new mods: Stats, Age/amount of time they've been on and their popularity. I agree and disagree with the argument thay the new mods should have a certain amount of stats/fairly high stats. I don't think stats represents how well you can do your job. However, I think that stats reflects how well you play, and maybe it's just my own prejudice, but I tend to think that people who have lower stats aren't as accustomed to the game because they can't/don't upgrade. I see it kind of like a resume, high stats=more experience. I know it doesn't always work like that though. Which brings me to my mext point, the amount of time playing. As for the amount of time a person has been playing, I feel like this isn't necessarily a difficult game to play. The concept is fairly easy and if a person doesn't know something, there's already a ton of forums and stuff from past players which can act as a reference. I, for one, have been playing for about 7 months and the reason I'm not too "advanced" is purely because I see no need for me to be. It can go both ways where a person who is very active and wants to be a mod will probably read up on some of their stuff. However, before PIMD, I did work with something very similar to this. I was a moderator, and for me to be a mod, I had to have at least a year under my belt before I was even considered. This can be good and bad, although it took a super long time, I felt like it prepared me. The only think constant is change, but history also repeats itself. And finally my last category, popularity status. Ok, I only know about 1 person from the new list of mods. But of course that's not saying much because before, I only knew Alien and Jerk and maybe 1 or 2 others because those are the only ones I saw. And the one of the only times I talked to a mod was when I was having trouble with a user on my wall so I talked to Jerk. In that case, my options were severly limited. I knew Alien was normally on when I was on, but I didnt know the full username so I was trying 'iAlienAbductYouBaby' and 'iAbductYouBabyAlien' and 'BabyAlieniAbductYou' and so on and so forth. (This is kind of going into usernames and underscores and words and blah, because it kind of contributrs to this.) The username Jerk was simple and easy to remember, but I obviously was somewhat close to getting Alien's. The other mod was someone with the name Footlong and /or Sandwich in it, but I didn't know anything past that so that wouldn't have helped me (no offense that I can't remeber your username whoever you are). I'm not saying that if a person has a difficult username they shouldn't be a mod and vice versa, but this is why I believe that being active is important. Yes, mods are always lurking on WC but not on your wall. Yes, if you just yell out "MOD" on WC they'd probably come running, but I'm a little bit more shy, so I'd want to just shoot a mod a quick message. I'd prefer to do that than announce it to everyone. This is also why I think a mod should be active on forums because unless you're following/friends with/have a link to their profile it can be hard to remember who's who. On WC, messages come and go in an instant, but in forums you just go through a few pages, find their name and click. I'm not trying to say that a mod has to be popular for mynown personal gain, but being fairly ignorant (per se) about what's happening and what to do, like a new user might be, a different color username stands out and it can't stand outbif it never makes its presence known in the first place. There's not much I can say about the other side other than that popularity shouldn't drive what makes a person a mod. People who are popular could be horrible mods ans vice versa. Okay, thanks for sticking with all of that and enduring all of my talking. Again, this is just my opinion and isn't meant to hurt or offend anyone. I'm not saying that tthe new mods don't deserve their new status because I have at least a little bit of trust that ATA doesn't pick their mods arbitrarily, but I'm just a bit hesitant.
well there better be a mod on at night to catch the thirsties bypassing or theres no point in having mods on this game
