New kind of Clubs

  1. Hi. First and foremost, I am not looking for a club. I'd just like to propose a new kind of club.

As most of us know, we have many kinds of clubs already that includes:

    -Cat Cafe Club/CC Club/CCC
    -Kini Club
    -RP Paradise Club
    -Farming Club
    -Etc etc

However, I've been searching around (not really) and with the club chat games, I'm surprised that there isn't a club for what I thought would be abundent. (not really.)

With the /rolldice command, there should at least be one Dungeons & Dragons club.

Or maybe even a Casino Club because /draw and whatnot.

Anyways, I haven't really played DnD myself, but I've seen videos and read stories online so it'd be nice to have a club dedicated to DnD, provided there be a dedicated DM.

Idk. I think it'd be fun.

The more I type this, the stupider it sounds. ☹

Maybe you have a better idea for a new type of club. You probably do. 🌚

  2. DnD is more fun to play in person than online imo. And when it is done online, it needs to be over Skype or smthing. Also the pimd die is only 6 sided right? DnD and other tabletop games require other types for stuffs. Also Call of Cthulu is more fun imo, you should try it out. Is easy to begin, someone just needs to be willing to be the GM.

  3. You can do /roll1dice20 for 20 sided die.
I'd like to play dnd in person but all my rl friends are too busy ✋😔

  4. Support 💀 or else the potd clubs get effing boring sometimes

  5. O i see. Well if someone else dm's I'd tag along. I like role-playing when it comes to tabletop games

  6. Actually that's a lie. Dnd takes several hours-years and I donut have time for that. I think casual dnd also wouldn't be v fun since you can't follow the story.

  7. It's a cute idea but I play d&d more seriously with friends irl and I don't think i could handle text message d&d

I imagine it would be painfully slow given that club chat has character limits and possibly hard to keep organized depending on how many people are participating.

For unexperienced dms, i would think 3-4 people max is ideal which is no where near a full club. Though if you had a full club who would pop in and play whenever, that would create a secondary chaotic element of people hopping into cc who arent playing.

Dice rolling is only a small portion of the game but yes the pimd dice are able to give you access to the proper dice to roll.

The only feasible way I'd see this working is if you had a semi experienced dm run scheduled one shots though a third party app where you could use voice chat to play. Though that could be implemented in any existing club or group of friends.

  8. I thought someone tried to do a casino themed club a while ago. I recall someone making a thread but I doubt I'd be able to find it.

I think there were scamming concerns?

Not entirely a bad idea though

  9. I checked out a casino group chat on here. We played blackjack.

All of this can be done through group chats rather than clubs
And your game longevity isn't a problem then because chat isn't wiped and you can play it like correspondence. Hop on and do your move, and people get on at their own pace.

  10. Innovative idea!

Idk how to play d&d but the episodes of community where they played were always fantastic so I'll give you my supports.
