New in Town

Lucy:

School flew by today and it was getting closer and closer to my date with C.J tonight and, I was getting more and more excited by the minute. I met him outside in the parking lot as I had done nearly everyday since we first met. There he was looking perfect leaning on his car looking for me with his bright blue gorgeous eyes. I ran over to him dropped my backpack and wrapped my arms around his neck. He bent his head down and kissed me on my forehead. You know they say when a guy does that it means he adores you and I could tell C.J adored me. I stood up on my tipy-toes and gave him a kiss on his beautiful pink lips.

"Looks like someone missed me." He said with a smirk on his face. "More then anything." I said smiling. " Ready for tonight?!" He asked me. "Yes I cannot wait!" I said jumping up and down in his arms. "Good I'm looking forward to it." He said smiling.

He then lead me to the passenger side of his car and opened my door. After I was in, he closed the door and walked around to his side and got in. Then he started his car and let the engine roar, we were off back to my house. He was a good driver but, sometimes he liked to show off a little but I didn't mind, he looked cute doing it. Once we got to my house he walked around to my door and opened it, when I got out he gave me a huge hug and a gentle kiss. "Until tonight beautiful. I'll be here at 7Pm that leaves u about 4 hours to get ready." He said releasing me from his strong arms. "I'll be ready, don't worry!" I said with a huge smile on my face. Once I got inside I ran upstairs and started frantically looking thru my closet for the perfect outfit. I wanted him to remember this night with me looking amazing.

C.J:

As soon as I left Lucy's house I rushed to the restaurant that I was having cater tonight's dinner. I wanted everything absolutely perfect tonight for Lucy, she deserved it after everything she had been thru. Once I got there I made sure they had everything I had requested on the menu. We were going to be having T-bone steak with country fried potatoes and corn, along with a caesar side salad and seafood soup. I was having to private waiters serve us for the evening who were going to meet us there with the food. Everything was set and ready to go. 4pm time was flying by fast, Luckily the florist was was only like 10 minutes away so, I jumped in my car and drove there. I had already pre ordered two beautiful bouquets of red roses. One to present to Lucy with when I picked her up and one to present to Lucy durning dinner. I paid the lady for the roses and placed them in my backseat. 4:45pm and two more stops to go before I had to go home and get dressed then head back to Lucy's house. I went to the jewelry store, I wanted to get Lucy something that showed how much I loved her. As soon as I walked in a lady greeted me from behind the counter.

"Hello young man how can I help you?!" She ask in a sweet voice.
"Yes hi, I am looking for something for my girl... soon to be girlfriend." I replied back nervously. I had never done anything like this before not even for Monica and I dated her for two years. "Okay, I can help you with that... did you have anything in mind?!" She asked smiling. "Uh.. maybe a necklace or earrings." I replied back. It was to early to get her a ring so, I figured I'd start with something small first. "Okay young man I think I can help you with that. She said gesturing me to the display of necklaces and earrings. I saw a set that had both a necklace and a pair of earrings that would look amazing on Lucy. "Can I see that one ma'am?!" I said pointing at the gold necklace that had a heart pendent attached to it with a pearl stud inside, the earrings also matched gold necklace. "That set is beautiful and I am sure the young lady that your buying it for would love it." The sales lady said. " I agree, I'll take it." I said smiling.

The lady rang me up and placed the jewelry in a lovely red silk case. I walked back to my car and put it in my glove box so it would be safe. 5:30pm crap! I panicked I spent longer in there then I planned but, it was worth it. I had one more stop to make before I had to head back to my house. The river where I would be taking Lucy for our date. I had hired someone to set up a table to eat and then a blanket with pellows for us to sit after dinner and watch the stars. It was peaceful there, anytime I was in a bad mood I would go there to clear my thoughts. I met with the man who had everything set up perfectly. I thanked him and gave him his payment and was off back to my house to get ready. 6:15pm I had just enough time to shower and put on the suit that I bought for tonight. I quickly showered and got dressed. 6:45 pm Well here goes nothing I thought to myself as I headed back to my car, off to lucy's house. I was excited, nervous, happy and scared all in one. Tonight is the night that I will ask Lucy to be my girlfriend....
