  6. Okay I know we have beef but I love this question

    Yes, ultrasound can show babies and their heartbeat, but it can do so much more. It can show problems in your bloodflow, blood clots that have broken off, problems with your veins or arteries. Also, problems in organs like cancer, calcification, tumors or gallstones. Plus, echo can show arrhythmias in your heart and problems with your AV valve which can prevent a heart attack.

    It’s deadass so important people know about ultrasound because doctors love to give you an MRI which has tons of ionizing radiation unlike ultrasound.
     
  7. MRI scans are always the worst, I usually tend to call it the doughnut.
     
  8. My boyfriend has Marfan syndrome and he had to get an ultrasound for something but i forgot what. Defo was not pregnancy. Think it had to do with the heart defects

  13. It's a connective tissue disorder. Some of the biggest symptoms he has of it are heart problems, pectus excavatum (look it up; it's a ribcage deformity), arachnodactyly (super long fingers), hyperflexibility, and unexplained stretch marks. He's also tall and rly skinny as most ppl with Marfan syndrome are
