So for everyone that ask to be a hs or a moderator this is not the way to do it ok. The way to become either one is by helping the community not by just posting and asking to be one

How do you become a moderator?

 

Still no answer from ATA or its community managers... It really is an honest question:

"Is changing status from HS to a Mod a promotion or demotion?"

I am technically both as I have both awards like Honey. But the role of a moderator is more important so I have the green name so people will know I can moderate and help.

So yes, it's a promotion.

 

They don't. At least not always. It depends on what you have been silenced for and how recent it is. You don't want to appoint a moderator who breaks TOU a lot. It implies they either break it on purpose or aren't familiar with the rules.

If you show a clean record for a certain period of time and a good understanding of the TOU, your chances go up. 
