Rabbit and squirrel are both a little greasier than chicken, and have a little more of a "gamey" flavor. But the texture is about the same as chicken. It's absolutely delectable. You will have to let me know if you ever get to try it. I've had it fried in butter, and oil. I have had it breaded and left bare. I've also had it in stew, which may be my favorite way to eat it . Another weird one I love is deer meat. Cut it up in about 1" x 1" pieces, put it in a pan with garlic, salt, pepper, and a whole bunch of Worcestershire sauce and let it cook. It will soak up all the juices and it's probably one of the best things I have ever eaten!!
Oh!!! Deer meat is very very tender! I love it! And I love a gamey taste! Gives it a little more of a wild taste! I am a wild food adventurer anyway! So I love game meats!!!
DANZOBABY!!! I am good thank you! Miss you guys! I should get on the forumer group more often and spam voice messages eh?
LovesJ31: I am so envious of you! You get to try so many different kinds of delicacies!!! I've tried snakes! They are more boney than expected. Too many bones to my liking, really. Otherwise, its meat is quite tender. A cross between chicken and eel. When I go to Japan in future, I am really going to try bear and horse sashimi (raw meat). Mmmm!!! When I go to China, I'm gonns try more grubs and starfishes and seahorses! It's so exotic, I need to try at least once on my life. Though I'm not to sure if I can stomach trying cats and dogs. We have been brought up with them being domesticated. I should get past my "eek" and "ethics" factor to truly enjoy my foods. Haha!
LovesJ31: I just realized your error in punctuation! You tried ME?!!! No you didn't!!! You didn't try me!!!
CJS: How can you have a taste test when you live halfway across the earth from me! Besides, I've gobbled up my dishes. And surprisingly, they are better than I expected. I am not a chocolate person. Infact, I don't like chocolate at all. But when infused with other secret spices and secret stuffs, chocolate lends a very nice earthy flavor to any dish! Not too much though, as it will overpower the whole dish and it becomes unpalatable. My first experiment was a fail as I used too much chocolate. Became too sourish-bitter to the tastebuds. Good thing I bought $50 worth of ingredients so I could whip up an extra batch of perfected dishes for this contest!
As long as it looks good. I don't have to be near you.. I want to see what you did to make it, what you made it with, and how it looks at the end. That's a perfect entry
CJS: Check the group! I've sent the pictures and description! TINGBABY: Me no likey chocolate! Me no likey coffee too! Tiramisu is a no no for me!
TINGBABY: I prefer vanilla milkshakes. Strawberries too. Not chocolate. Now you made me crave vanilla milkshake!!!
