I wanted to post mine but I'm sure all you'll see are nails with unidentifiable shapes cosIdontknowhowtoshapemynails ugh
Are there still "fully" black in the US? Genuinely asking. I'd think by now everyone's more or less mixed.
Genes may influence a person but there's still more variation within an arbitrarily defined "race" than between them. The prejudices surrounding individual races in America are far more influential than the actual genes themselves. Talking about a slightly lower average IQ yet we can all study to do pretty much whatever we want. You don't need 140+ IQ to be an astrophysicist. You just need to study hard and be determined and maybe habe a good and supportive household that doesn't see science as sacrilege and which sabotages/limits your studies :/
Idk that many black people who be like "I'm not fully black, we're more or less mixed." I do know that we "mix" when we meet those white girls with daddy issues... yeah, we "mix" a lot.
I mean the chances of someone being ‘full blooded’ Korean/African/Irish/Whatever with no trace of anything else in them are very slim. We’re mostly mixed to some extent.
As travel becomes easier, the internet and globalization take hold, we'll tend towards homogenization. What's wrong with that? :/ Your genes don't make your culture.
It's not about genes, it's about nails! All I'm saying is, people don't have to be mixed, because most black people won't fill that out on a job application form or any form of that nature. We don't have to be mixed to please someone who thinks we can't be nothing, but one thing. Again, we should get back to nails before another female starts bi tching and calls us idiots.
