ii agree mods do alot of hard work also since Rose has been mod she has done soo much for our community its mind blowing.. put ur self in their shoes soo way to go rose always Fancy_Mia
Poop Epi, but that goes along with what I said. If there's confusion, email support. That whole thread about Spiny, and that guy being silenced, could have been resolved by emailing campus. And as for the fact that Spiny said it wasn't silenceable to use emojis, that also could have been handled through support by having them clarify and suggesting someone tell Spiny.
I know as a moderator I am supposed to be calm and fair, but I am my own person as well so I'll try to keep this within reasonable boundaries. Most of PimD have no respect for moderators at all. The verbal abuse and hassle you cause is unbelievable, you complain constantly about never having active moderators yet I haven't seemed to stop, and instead i'm rewarded with crap from 90% of you. I'm not saying you have to get on your knees what I'm saying is, you have a problem with anything come to me, but do not put me down or how I work my job. You think you can do any better than me feel free to be guest. Royale warned me as a friend before I took the job not to over work myself, and instead I've done the complete opposite. While dealing with my RL job, studies and recent family issues I've been working on here in nearly all my free time, resulting in headaches and complete lack of sleep. I do make mistakes, I am human and I will stand up and take responsibility for them as I have done on a recent accidental silence I performed. On the recent A51-Penguin issue I have stated he was silenced for bypassing, not for how the word was used, yet you carry on to berate me for silencing someone unfairly. All of you who wish to be moderator, it's not as easy as you think, you don't have time for the game and I'm barely keeping up with pm's. You throw yourself into it and get nothing in return and quite frankly I've had it with the whole app, the only thing keeping me here as moderator is the people who appreciate the help, and even then I wonder is it worth it at all. It's unrewarding, unappreciative, and an utter nightmare. You need to have some damn respect and manners and approach us as you'd approach a normal being. I'm not saying we're perfect we're not, we will slip up, we will make mistakes and we will do our best to keep the community a safe and happy environment. Due to myself now taking ill and the stress from the app I will be taking a momentary break from moderating and the app for 2 days. What? Do I fail as moderator now? Well, sue me.
But most here are children Roy. As for the penguin issue I have only asked one question. Can I be pointed to the section of the TOU that bans bypassing? I can find the sections about racism, profanity and harassment but an seem to find the section about bypassing.
Emailing support helps clarify things for one specific person, but for things that need clarifying that person isn't the only one effected. I don't think support needs to waste the time replying to 100 emails to clarify one thing, when a single forum thread would suffice. There was a thread made by Cookie with the intention of clarifying a point of contention, wherein it was discovered that not only are some mods not together on certain things, but even the devs are unclear between each other. Threads that help unify everyone on what is silenceable in the grey areas of the ToU are constructive, and, in my opinion, good for the community. And I see you, Pool.
Hmm that's a good point. I was intending to make a few threads clearing up grey areas but players didn't seem to believe that I was accurately saying the rules.
Epi, the thing is, it NEVER sticks to being constructive. Ever. The only post that does is the original post that helps clear things up. It always ends up bashing the mod in some way, and there's more harm than good of it. What's it matter if a grey area is cleared up if no mods are here to enforce the rule because of how everyone treats them?
