  1. It doesn't sound like a complete disaster at all. Congrats!

  2. Thankyou guys <3 about time I make some mula

  3. I completely winged it. It was horrible. I was stuttering and saying "Uhm" alot. I kept glancing to the side and fidgeting with my keys. It's an honest miracle the dude wanted to hire me. LMAO.

  4. lmao thank jesus this was made , this might be me soon  congrats 

  5. Me during my first interview :

Interviewer: are you okay with moving to a different state like 900kms away from here for the position?

    Me : yeah sure.

Interviewer: Would your family have any issues with that.

Me: Honestly they don't really care.

    *Awkward silence*

I mean they know I care about my career and it's my first priority so they are very supportive.

xd be cool but like don't be too cool

  6. Sad interview story

  7. Congrats! Make sure you call and follow up if you don't hear from them in a few days.

(I only hire people who follow up. They have good customer service skills)

  8. Be confident but not c*cky.

  9. Congrats. You can be a PIMD sugar mama now.

  10. I was told I'd be expecting a call within a few days and if I don't, then call them in two weeks to follow up.

But my bf's mom is pushing me to follow up sooner than that?

So, as someone who hires people, what do you think I should do? Follow the company's suggestion to follow up in two weeks if I'm not contacted or call them sooner than that?

  11. In my opinion, 3-5 days is usually an appropriate time frame to follow up.

2 weeks seems really far out.

  12. Do you think it could harm her chances if they said two weeks and she called in sooner? Like they would see that as, "Oh, she can't follow instructions."

  13. I don't see why it would, all they have to say if they've not made a decision yet is "we still have a few interviews to complete, call back again."

Two weeks seems like an insult for an entry level position. Like, you're supposed to sit around for two weeks and hope you get the job? Nahh...You can find entry level employment in two days. Especially since op doesn't currently have a job, 2 weeks is a long time to sit around with no income and no promise of future income.

  14. Yeah, I agree 2 weeks is a long time with no word back. I would be so anxious! And I'm sure Nemo would to. I just didn't want her to potentially jeopardize herself, ya know?

  15. I wouldn't look down upon it, I'd be impressed with the incentive.

  16. Yeah, that's what I thought too. 2 weeks is a such a long time to wait to know if I got the job for sure or not.

To be safe, I'll call back in 5 days then.
