Omg same here! Lol I'll be at like page 40 and be like "aiight I'm bored. Next story!" lol 

 

Colleen played that party back in her head. Maybe he didn't realize it was her! Maybe she was just mistaken for a soccer player. She knew he wouldn't dance with her out of will. Never! He was Tyler Jordan for crying out loud! She was just, well, Colleen. The plain girl. So what did she do? He seemed to enjoy it so much! The entire night actually! Well, it looks like she would find out in school today.

Colleen walked into school with a smile on her face. She had an amazing weekend. Between that strange party, a sleepover at Angie's with the girls, and a trip to the mall, nothing could have been better. She also never looked better. After they're mall trip, Taylor completely transformed Colleen. She showed her a few makeup tips on how to make her dark eyes look even more mystical. She also gave her a whole new style.

Colleen spotted Tyler talking to Jess at his locker. Colleen froze in her tracks. Questions raced through her mind. 'Do I talk to him? Do I wait for him to come to me? What if he doesn't come to me? Even worse, what if he does? What do I say?' Colleen quickly turned on her heel but I was too late. Her cover was blown.

Tyler rushed down the hallway to cath up to her. "Colleen!" he hollered, "Wait up!"

Colleen reluctantly stopped. "Yes?"

"Um," he studdered, "Uh...heh, I'm normally good at this. I don't know what's wrong!"

"Spit it out Tyler," she joked.

"Um, okay, would you like to go out with me sometime?"

"Wait, seriously? Why? I'm nothing special. You can have any girl, and you chose me?"

"Yes?" he said, unsure of his answer. "Colleen, I really do like you. I want to give us a chance. I like your cuteness and your shyness. You're easy to talk to that way. You don't snap at me. You actually give me a chance to talk. Most girls don't do that, and I like that about you. Friday night showed me a lot about you. From the hour we spent just talking, to all the time we spent on the dance floor. If all that wasn't enough, you are also one hot dancer!"

Colleen just stared at him, dumbfounded.

Tyler shifted uncomfertably and looked back at her.

Finally, Colleen went up on her toes and kissed his cheek then walked away. That was a little move Taylor had taught her. Who would have thought she would have used it on Taylor's brother! But it worked.

Tyler ran after her. "Wait, is that a yes?" he said, trying to hide his excitement.

She laughed. "Yes, Tyler. I'll go out with you."
