I strode through the parking lot, struggling back at Samantha, who was grunting because I was pushing her back, and I was still covering my eyes because the sun blinded me, but I wasn't weak.

Is it true about the weak? In shelters? And foster homes? Or hospitals? And injured war zones?

My mind reeled at the though of my face being weak and helpless, unless by Samantha, who do excited shoots perfect aim to a man's heart.

    Everything will get better.

But I'm not wanted in the world, I'm simply just an outcast finding a new path to step on, and I always step on broken glass, from the light of my soul, as I pick up the pieces and I'm still breathing.

Samantha gurgled,"A-Amber? Are you scared?"she said through struggling breaths.

    "No. Just. Angry."I chocked.

"I'd doubt I'm my mind, I've had at least one day being not being scared. Why would you think that?"I frowned softly

She gently tugged me and her icy blue eyes shown, like blistering icicles, they were so pretty to look at, how haven't I notice,"I see it through you."she whispered quietly.

My eyes widened and I stopped struggling, I felt no more movement in my body.

She whispered,"My advice, read the book, by Desmond Creed, My Pain; Your Thrill. It might help."she smiled.

MY ANSWERS WERE IN A BOOK? THAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT.

It was too good to be true.

    "Erm, thanks."I said, sheepishly.

Sammi just giggled her usual smile with her flashing eyes. I should have noticed hers. I felt bad for every bad situation she has been and never commented about her eyes. They are a wild pair, with blue stranded through the horizons, with a splash of ocean that drifted into my heart, sending me into so many comments, but I never ceased to exist.

It always made me realize the way my childhood began, and how I keep ending my day with silent plays of my instruments, and letting the last note fall into place in the theater, where I nestled my head on the old chairs that beholded the oak stage, filled with knicks and knacks, I always felt apart from the world.

And now, with one of my only friends that would ever talk to me in the world, that would care to look at me in my frizzed hair, and my home made designs, and my sense of communication. She understood me completely, and I haven't done I thing that I would love to do for her. I could set her across with some gifts, or comment on her clothes....but no.

    I'm....lifeless.

The one time I actually have the way to turn my hallowed heart into something worth breathing for, she was there for me. This book, the cover was smooth and the texture was great to poke at, and the cover consisted of a falling rose, with nestled with a woman, probably resting on the edge of a bed, her mouth sighing of stress, and she let the white rose fall.

The woman seemed to remind the remorse of others, but I touched her face. Her porcelain face matched mine, but she had black silky hair, compared to my dull white hair. If made me touch the ends of my hair, and humbly and thick, while hers straight and soft.

I wanted to say something, but I looked like a fool to the book, like I was worshipping it, and Sammi said softly, giggling,"Hey, Amber. I know it's a good book, but you don't need to praise it, silly."

I rested the book in my case, and I asked politely, with a crease of uncertainty,"You read this?"

"Of course. It's one of the best books around."she commented crisp and clear, airy as a cloud.

    Will this help me?

I nodded and she hugged me tightly,"Dont worry. It will get better."she said through her silky voice."Then, she managed to shake me off and wave back to me soothing off, and skipping through the sidewalk and offering me a ride in her boyfriends truck.

    I nodded.

Stepping into the truck swelled my nerves, I felt like it was raining and i didn't have the safe umbrella I wanted, and I was left there, almost to be struck by lightning. The seats were jumbled up, and the car smelled like a dead rat encase there had twins, but died at birth. The Hawaiian covers were old and dusty, and the place was covered with wrappers, etc.

When I managed to put my left foot, my blue heels clacked a different noise I wasn't fond of, and they managed to stick to some newspaper, with disgusted me. I gulped a few times, and breathed deeply to shade out the smell, but it was seeping through my nostrils.

Sammi was comfortably going into the right seat in front, while a man in a husky voice called out,"Hello sugarcube, where to?"It had a deep rich, country accent, but it had a strong scent of Tabasco and weed.
The man turned around and inside me cringed. He had a beard that covered most of his chin, and his piercing hazel eyes were electric, and his teeth was never what I thought it would been like, nice and filled, not musky and toothless.

Sammi took a sip of root beer that was laying next to him, and gave him a wink,"Easy there, Ren. She's not from around our kind, but she'll be a great addition."she smiled at me, which cause me to shrink inside.

Really? I was being played with?

I cleared my throat, giving my warmest reguards, sadly,"I have you know, we are meeting a friend at a fair."The voice made me feel powerful, and I had every strong will to be happy, and I was.

Ren chuckled, a happy tone that probably was picked up from Sammi,"We'll ma'am, you will have to get used to us. We are a wild pair."
He grinned and kissed Sammi on the forehead, which rosy red cheeks appeared on Sammi,"Oh stop it. Now step on it. I want to use that gun when I get home."Ren whistled.

"Darling. You by far are one of the best gun slingers I know, maybe you could teach your friend."he gestured to me, and my eyes went back and forth,"Me?"I said, confused.

Ren laughed and so did Sammi, the Hawaiian hula dancer swaying back and forth caused by Ren accidentally tacking it,"Shoo-we. This is going to be a good day."

I just sat in my seat the whole time, shrinking, but I started to think about the book. I stated to get my case and get the book, which I did so. I seemed to really get shocked by the book, and when I opened the silly cover, the words of the book came back to me, and I started to read slowly, letting my mind drift as I saw the letters:

Pray in mind that one cannot find one joy by only the pleasure, but also the pain.

Fiona Hampshire rose again from her bed and she wondered to herself every time she felt distraught, her life was always closing.....

And I drifted into a deep slumber.
