My head was practically screaming NO NO NO! Tears form in my eyes and my breathing fastened. I was having a panic attack. I felt my head throbbing and my whole body shaking. I leaned back against the wall and squeezed my eyes shut. My teeth were searching for something to bite on, to make me calm down. No one was around, no one was about to help me. I held my hand to my mouth and i bit myself real hard. Ignoring the pain, i bit harder. I had a hard time breathing and i struggled not to scream. I continously and bit harder each time i thought of him. Blood started to form. All of a sudden, a pair of long arms wrapped around me and pulled me into his chest. "Kate, stop! I'm here. I've got you. Shhh...Its okay. I'm here now. I'm not leaving you." A voice i knew too well, a voice i've heard that made me fall in love every time i hear him calling my name...Ethan's voice. I tore away from his embrace to look at his face. His hair was messy but i could see a little color in his face. His ocean blue eyes looked at me with concern and love. I gasped and traced my fingers on his face, in disbelief. Debating if its real or if i had gone crazy. He softly chuckled and kissed my lips. That wonderful sensation i've been dying to feel for a long time. We kissed passionately and hungrily like its our last. "Do you think its a real now?" he said,breathless. I give him another kiss and nodded as the tears streamed down my cheeks. I couldnt express how grateful i was to have him back. Buring my face in his chest, i sobbed. It was so scary, having to think he was dead. "I thought i lost you forever" i croaked. "Never...I not gonna drop dead without spending an eternity with you" I smiled for the first time in awhile and kissed his lips again. We spent the night in each other's arms. |<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>| After a few days in the hospital, Ethan got discharged and his sisters were so happy. I thank both Natasha and Julia for everything they've done to save me. I was told to let Ethan rest for a few days so i hung out with my siste,Taylor for a while. We had fun before she had to go back to her school. She even told me about a guy she's been going out with, his name was alex. I was happy for her and believe it or not, she was going to live with him in an apartment for the next semester. Of course, without our parents ever knowing. It was a peaceful night.I sat down on a lounge chair while listening to music outside my room. I closed my eyes and thought about Ethan. It was torture not having to see him for a few days. We were almost inseperable after he woke up. I guess it was a bit healthy not to see him for awhile because Ethan wasn't fully recovered at that time but i was seriously missing him. A sudden noise tore me away from my thoughts. To my surprise, Ethan was standing at the end of my chair,grinning. I laughed and immidiately jump into his arms. He kissed me and set me down on the chair. He leaned back and pulled me onto his lap. I automatically wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his lips. I pulled away for ansecond to look at his face. He seemed healthier. Theres more color in my cheeks and his eyes were shinning like gems. Judging from his damp hair and the scent of his shaving cream, he just showered and came here as soon as he's done. "Are you even allowed here?" I asked, kissing his nose. "Well, technically no but heck, i missed you too much" he replied, chuckling. I laughed and rested my head on his shoulder. A comfortable silence hung around us and i could see stars above. My eyes travelled from the stars to our finger entwined together. " Want to go to for a walk...or hike?" he suddenly said. I knew he meant our secret glade and i agreed but nodding. I stood up and he wrapped his arms around my waist. He carried me and swiftly jumped down from my balcony. It wasn't that high from the ground so he had jo trouble doing it. He set me down in his car and drove us through the woods. We arrive there in a few minutes and walked towards the glade with our arms locked around eachother. We stole kisses in the dark and then laughed afterwards. I gasped as i saw our glade illuminated by a bunch of twinkling lights around the braches and bushes. A checkered cloth was laid out at the middle, around the various flowers of pink,purple and blue. "You did this?" I asked him and he replied by nodding. He laid me down on the cloth and positioned himself by my side. Without hesitation,bringing me in his arms. His breath tickled my neck and how he stroked my hair, calmed my heart. We gazed into eachother eyes, lovingly and couldn't resist stroking either our hair,cheek or lips. We kiss every few seconds and then stop when breathless. "Why didnt you tell me about your disease?" he suddenly asked. "I was scared and i didnt know how to tell you. I didnt want you to see me die." "You didnt die. And you had no idea how scared i was...how worried i was. My mind was going crazy but in the end, i still got to be with you and thats all what matters now." I smiled. "You didnt have to save me. You didnt have to let me live. You almost lost your life when you tried saving me." "I would do it again and again if i had to. You are worth everything to me and i mean it. I vowed to myself to protect you and i always will." "I love you Ethan." He smiled lovingly " I love you too Kate" I swore to never ever let this wonderful man out of my sight ever again. He is my world just as i am, his. Forever til the end.
