I wouldn't say that since he was a Minister in Nation of Islam.. Would you expect a catholic priest to go kill ppl ? No , and anyways Supreme Court overturned his conviction and Ali was exonerated.. From Internet: --When asked by reporters why he'd seemingly given up everything to oppose the war, Ali said, "My conscience won't let me go shoot my brother [in Vietnam] or some darker people or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America." He continued: "And shoot them for what? They never called me n-----."
Re: Muhammaion d Ali (1942 - 2016) He is one of the greatest athletes ever in history but also stood up and fought for what he believed in. He fought for peace and civil rights. He was a true inspiration to all. R.I.P Champ
To answer, yes I would. I expect all to serve there duty if called upon. I'm not even American and I believe that. Secondly, since when have you actually trusted the Supreme Court? Lol. Seems to me like you guys complain about them more than actually support them. Also @Hana Lol k.
Muhammad Ali A great Ghanaian boxer,I am proud to be a Ghanaian but we are all very sad for this incident...... I love my country Ghana Rest In Perfect Peace Muhammad Ali
Actually, he changed his name before he was drafted... So no he didn't do it to get out of joining. And our military fights for the right to join if you so choose. It shouldn't be forced on you. And that's what Muhammad was trying to say. And because it went against his religion. He was also a supporter of our troops... Just saying.
