It's really the sentiment. If your father, for lack of a better word, is a bit absent, in your life, and he makes you a promise and doesn't follow through, it makes you sad. It's the principal of the idea. Also, yes, it's not a laptop, and it's functions are limited. Also, it's fair to feel upset about this, it's a personal problem. So, please don't be unkind to the poster. While I'm sure Chloe is grateful, she's a little upset that her father basically blew off the promise he made. :/
