  1. @fat_ass

The police were looking for a suspect who was waving a gun, that doesn't mean the Dylan was the suspect. He walked out of 7 eleven with his brother and a friend, he was wearing headphones and could not hear the polices orders, and was shot because the cop thought he was the suspect they were looking for.

  2. How am I racist? @I-_-I

  5. Then ig they shot him for not following rules lol

  6. Why is a mans death funny? No death should be a laughing matter

  7. He wasn't laughing at his deatg

  8. Ya i wasnt.

  9. Upon reading this thread, I researched "Dylan Taylor", and managed to pull up only two online articles. The websites on which these articles were published are not credible, and even contain poor spelling mistakes. This lack of professional care makes me question how substantiated their stories and claims are. Also, if the issue truly occurred, wouldn't the major news broadcasters pick up on the story and publish an article of their own? It seems likely, due to the on-going Ferguson case. This would be a great complement to the Ferguson issue, to show the public two sides of same situation.

  10. You say no.death should be a laughing matter but your original post tells me you wouldve ratherd named this thread

    "White awareness

  11. Apologies in advance to those who may have interpreted my post offensively. It was not my intention to come across as aloof and impassive to the shooting of an unarmed man (no matter his race). I only wanted to bring to attention the fact that a shooting of an unarmed man is an anomaly in the daily tasks of the police force, and any of the like would be documented by large news stations. And with the supposed shooting of Dylan Taylor occuring so closely to the Ferguson issue, I doubt the credible broadcasters would choose to overlook the event.

  12. "White awarness. Fuck the black deaths"

  13. Should every tragedy get equal attention? Yes most of the time. But there is a reason that this story is so big. So just cuz a story that may not be getting the attention it deserves isn't as big, I don't think that ppl should complain about the attention this case is getting. I've also heard the same week there were many killings in Chicago and other places. Do they deserve the attention? Probably. But so does this. I don't think anyone should place blame on this case as to why others aren't getting attention

  14. your source for dylan doesn't seem very reliable. But i do see the point. Black cops kill white civilians and the stories die pretty quickly, yet when whirlte cops shoot black men, its a whole different matter.

I know this is going to sound really unfaur, but it's because Black population are a minority of which have a history of abuse from white people. Bullying, slavery ect. So in this day and age. A hate crime is really to protect the minorities of society because they are the targets.
I am a white woman, if I was called a racist name, it would be ignored. If i was called a sexist name, it would be ignored. However if i was a black woman, wither it be racist or sexist it would be taken seriously because I would then be a minority.

Death is a serious matter, and race shouldn't matter, but we have adapted to protect our minoroty groups over our majority groups because of the huge pressure on us to except equality. Just the way it is unfortunatly.

  15. As long as I can snap my fingers I'll always be happy.

  16. I've not heard of either of them 

  17. Heck, I'm asian, born and bred LOL. But I agree with Panda that civilized societies tend to pursue egalitarian measures and focusing heavily on implementing equal rights. Therefore, they try to protect the minorities and try prevent any further abuse towards the vulnerable.

  18. * and focus :3 huehue
