Iām into the main story avis and thatās it. Thereās like 3 pieces of furni I like and would use. Iām confused on why we are putting a bookshelf in front of a window though? Sometimes the placement choices get to me. The main story stats arenāt bad, hopefully the side story stats are good too. I havenāt done much of the ad boosters and honestly I forget that they are there. My eyes just go right past it. The new drop boost sounds nice though. Iām too lazy to do math right now for the invites and p/potd drops so Iām hoping itās good too.
I will say in terms of themes this is a step backwards compared to last years steampunk-mas theme which felt fresh and interesting.
A quick reminder that hunt themes are decided through the surveys, and this hunt was one of the themes shown in the survey. Please vote in it because it really does matter! Most if not everything for the past year or two were decided through the surveys.
My sentiments, exactly. It would've better placed at the head of the chaise longue ; with the framed cameo replaced with either a wreath or a be-ribboned mistletoe... That diminutive Christmas tree, as well, looks rather depressing to me, than festive. This is even more dismally noticeable, when you consider that the "Holiday Hibernation" only had that beautiful tree as the special 999-EC item; while, āA Dreamy Dusk in Decemberā had a potted shrub(?). True, not everyone has, nor puts out, a tree at this time of the year. Nevertheless, I had been hoping that there would be at least a decent one; something which would be easier (and, predominantly, more affordable) to attain (i.e.: via Lite Box drops, trades, and the like)... The rest of the furniture are alright, I suppose. Albeit, I'm quite partial to that chaise longue ; and would incorporate it with the other yuletide dorm items I already own. Meanwhile, on the topic of the avatars, I have two which I very much fancy: The one on the centre right (the Leaderboard avatar?) , as well as the female one (second to the last, far left). To me, they're reminiscent of both the old European (mainly, Germanic) Christmas times, as well as "The Nutcracker" -- particularly since the latter avatar (more so, its VIP variant) reminds me so much of Clara Stahlbaum... Generally-speaking, (from my point of view, at least) the avatars seem to lack a more cohesive theme. Though, they are well-drawn. I'm quite torn about how I feel about this event; as I was so looking forward to it... Do I hate it? Not at all. Do I love it? I want to. Does it inspire to me thoughts of merry-making and yuletide cheer? Not really, either. It is alright, to say the least. However, considering it's meant to be timed for such a meaningful and anticipated holiday for a lot of us players: Is "alright" truly enough to give to the community which has supported the game, all these years? Something to ponder on...
Yes , you are totally correct. Similarly in September 2025 it was for Valentine, Mardis Gras, Saint-Patrick Day and Wedding clothing. In November 2025, it was for a few hunts ideas and thereās always a last section for you to write ideas and suggestions that we include details.
I love your point of view! Would you say for a hunt furniture set or avatars clothings, it should retain the green or red ? A few suggestions as āChristmas huntā was given on the second page of this thread like āKrampus , Ugly sweater and other detailsā, do you think that could feel innovative or interesting? š¤ On the other hand, I feel that since itās less extravagant, people can take a break for real-life and they arenāt missing out either on the game nor for their real life experience.
imagine my surprise for going back after being inactive for a year and I see all the same design of boxes with just different colors šš they've gotten lazier fr
For those who miss the hunt box queries back in September 2025 . Message link shared by @Muschi credit to @Muschi for sharing the information from the PIMD discord
Thank you, darling, and likewise! š„°š«¶ I actually think those suggestions (" Krumpus" and "Ugly Sweater", in particular) are BRILLIANT! Since ATA already tends to splice the holidays into multiple themes, I believe incorporating those two concepts would not only be feasible, but oh, so, refreshing, too! We could have such unique and/or contemporary themes precede a more traditional hunt, later on. That latter one could, then, revert to the more classic elements (including, but not limited to, the red/green colourways--both of which, I love to see on Christmas-themed designs!). I reckon that would be a win for all of us, wouldn't it? I concur that, having a more laid-back event, or two--specially those right after Black Friday, and just before Christmas time--would give us all a much-needed breather. I think that, if this were the case, perhaps our collective eagerness to celebrate the holiday would be more renewed and re-invigorated! āŗļø
theres something off abt this hunt! you canāt match classic avis (which honestly most of them feel like wearing cheap garment with fake classic postures) with a dorm that looks like a basement! neither avis nor the dorm convey the aristocratic and classic vibe if thats what youāve aimed for. the color pallet is off too considering it shud be xmas-y!
I think itās the wrong dates are show as duration on a few banners on campus buzzz is that what you are referring to ? @nyacho
