I'm all for the animals, but think of it this way. We are animals as well. What happens in nature? Animals eat other animals. So I won't judge you for the synthetic pills you take, that I'm sure they will find causes cancer (because anymore it seems everything does), and your gmo vegetables (because I don't see you sayin ganything organic in the first few pages I skimmed), and don't judge me for enjoying meat when I have it. Everyone has their own reasons for the diets they choose. And they suffer whatever consequences they bring. Over meat: cardio issues or protein poisoning. Over veg: you can get malnourished unless balancing your diet with iron rich vegs, high protein beans, and fatty legumes.
We could eat each other? It would not only save the animals but also help steady the ever rising human population
And reading the rest: plants have no life because they have no brain. Well if you are going to argue that killin animals is bad for religious reasons, some religions believe all things have a life force, and should be respected. So you are also committing an insult to these people by saying otherwise. Someone can always be offended. And commercial factory farms can be terrorizing places. But there are also local sources, or responsible sources one can get their meat. So that is a null reason as well. Banning the terrorizing farms is an easier argument. Good luck in getting supporters. But meat is a big industry. Many aren't going to let go of those dollars, and many more are going to eat their bacon watching the waste of time and energy to fight meat. Furthermore, how many fossil fuels are powering the outlet your device charges in? Or fuels or charges your vehicle? Aside from animal powered carts (which some may say you are torturing them-there for you would be hypocrite), or riding a bicycle (which more than likely used fossil energy to create) or walking everywhere, you void your own argument.
There are several things that you get from eating meats that you can't get from plants or just being a vegetarian. Your body needs and uses the proteins from meats. You can supplement your diet with other things but its easier for your body to break down and process from its natural state.
