Social studies is the easiest subject here. I've never studied and I have a 100. It's just really easy .-. So is language arts. Geometry and science are more interesting, but a bit harder too.
My favorite subject will always be science or math though. English, you learned everything you needed to know in 1st grade. Social studies is just irrelevant to anything you'll need to know. You need science and math for life though.
I fall asleep in half my English classes... My reader hates me too. She'll say "it's ok he'll fail his poetry test! He won't know what a simile is after we've learned it 7 years in a row!" The sad thing is half the kids in my grade can't read simple words without stopping and sounding it out. But they want to teach us poetry again...
I took a drivers Ed class a few years ago with a lot of people that already previously had their drivers license but it was revoked from them due to drunk driving and other non-sense. Many of them couldn't read and some were over 20
It's unbelievable. Why do we need the definition of poetry terms reinforced every year, but we don't make sure kids can read "the black dog" in less than 15 seconds. Literacy should come before poetry terms.
It may be implied that half the kids at your grade level can at least read 5 reading levels below their own grade. But your claim makes sense. There's a lot of stupid things people have to learn too
they used to test us. They'd give us a paper and you'd read for a minute. They'd mark your words per minute and how many mistakes you made. They'd rate you below basic, basic, proficient,or advanced (in that order from worse to best). I had advanced every time and i never made a mistake. It just came easily. But the I see kids getting 20's and I'm like "why aren't they helping them?" what's the point of it if you arent going to use it? They got rid of those in 6th grade because "it was implied that everybody could read at the required level". Yeah... Right. False story bro.
that is silly of the teachers. I guess some students choose to be stupid too. But a simple grade doesn't fix anything if you don't learn.
The Fibonacci numbers are defined as F0 = F1 = 1 and Fnplus1 = Fn plus Fn-1. Calculate the following infinite sum: F0 3F1 32F2 3nFn --- t---- t -----t ... t ----- t ... 1 5 52 5n (my t is my plus sign)
