Adrián said as he walked over to my mom and kissed her cheek, then grabbed my hand and led me upstairs. "Pack your stuff. I'm calling some of the guys I met at school to help us move. We'll go to the bank and completely empty our trust funds, and get away. We're not staying here." I could feel the rage through the bond. So I did as he said. I still hadn't unpacked everything, so I threw what I had unpacked into random boxes and bins. Within 30 minutes, 4 guys were in my room carrying my things into the garage and loading them into mine and Adrián's cars. After about an hour, both of our stuff was piled into at least 11 of our cars, with a different person at each wheel. I decided to say bye to my mom. "Mom. I love you. I don't care who my dad is, you raised me well. Adrián and I will make it okay. I'll call you every night. I love you." I pulled her into a hug and she began to cry, as did I. "I love you too baby.
