-------Mallory's point of view------- Adrián and I were I Armani, he was looking around and I was smelling their colognes. For some reason, I like to smell them. They remind me of my dad and Adrián. I looked around for Adrián when I saw this guy... His features intrigued me. He looked so, innocent. Yet, badass. He had stunning blue eyes, they were dazzling. He had almost bleach blonde hair, he was tan, he had nice muscles, he looked very tall. But the thing that caught my eye about him was the long scar on his face, going from the edge of his right eye to his collar bone. It made me want to know him. His aura was amazing. It was a shining white, with silver and gold around the outside and flecks in the middle. It was like nothing I've ever seen before, like that of an angel's. He looked vaguely familiar, like I've seen him around before. 'Stay focused, little sister.' Adrián shot at me through the bond. I glanced at him and he smirked at me. 'I don't know... There's something about him... I want to know. I want to hear his story... He looks so interesting...' I trailed off and continued gazing at the man. He probably felt my eyes on him for the entire 10 minutes I stared at him. He looked at me, I studied his eyes for a while, he seemed to look right through me... It was weird. I looked away and bit my lip, a habit I have when I get nervous. I felt his eyes on me still. I slowly began to turn towards the direction where he was, our eyes met yet again. I began ever so slowly walking towards him. He smiled and walked towards me also. "Hi, I saw you staring at me... Is there something you need?" He smiled at he and revealed perfectly straight, white teeth. "Oh, no. Sorry I thought you were someone I knew." I replied quickly. The words came out rushed. "Haha that's okay. I'm Bryson, Bryson Nikkoli." Damn, his voice was like velvet, so dreamy and steady... "Nice to meet you. I'm Mallory Brynn." I felt like I was turning into jello. It was crazy. Why was I feeling like this? This is crazy. "A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." he smiled and winked at me then lifted my hand and kissed it gently. "Thanks." I felt my cheeks turn warm. I pulled a pink pen out of my purse and grabbed his hand then scribbled my number down. "Call me sometime." I winked then turned away as saw Adrián waiting for me outside the store. He was about to give me hell....

He gave me a sinister smile and fixed the collar on his purple polo. "You and I both." We stayed in the mall for about another three hours or so then headed home. When we drove into the garage, our mom's and dads cars were both there. That's weird... They're supposed to be in Paris. Oh well. Adrián and I grabbed our bags and went inside. "Hey mom! Hey dad!" I yelled before running up the stairs to my room. "Mallory, Adrián. When you get a chance please come into the dining room." My moms worried voice echoed through the house. what do you think it is? I said to Adrián through the bond as I placed my bags on my bed. I don't know. But I don't think it's going to be good... I heard his footsteps approaching and I turned to see him standing in my doorway, motioning for me to go downstairs with him. I saw my mom and dad sitting at each of the heads of our 12 seater, glass, dining table. "I sweeties. How was your day?" My mother looked between Adrián and I. "Erm, good. We went to the mall." Adrián replied as we both sat down. "That's great. What did-" My mother was cut off by my fathers aggravated voice. "Your mother and I have something to tell you." "Michaél!" My mother exclaimed. "Look, Desiraé. There's no point in sugar coating anything at this point. They're old enough to be able to handle it." My father shot my mom a look that said 'Dont push it.' and she began speaking. "Your father and I are getting a divorce. It's just not working out. We each want different things and have different interests." My mother put her head down. "Therefore, Mallory, you will be going with your biological father, Jordan. As for Adrián, you have a choice. You can stay here in California with me, or you can go with your mother wherever she ends up." My father began to say something else, but I cut him off. "No. I will NOT for one, live with a complete stranger, even if he is my real dad! And secondly, I absolutely will not leave Adrián!" I stood up and could feel my blood boiling. "Mallory, I'm afraid you don't have a say in it." My father replied aggravated. "But I do." All of us looked at Adrián with a questioning look. "I'm 18. Legally, I can take care of myself. As for Mallory, she can be emancipated, or live with me." When he finished, my mother looked at him with such love. I knew she didn't want us to be apart. "That, is absurd! There is no way IN HELL that is happening! Adrián, you are staying with me,
