---------------------------- Laverne returned to her kitchen, grumbling to herself under her breath. “I can hear you girl, I know you love my presence here.” Laverne rolled her eyes in exasperation. “Could guys get any more thick-headed?” She thought. “Sandwich for you?” She asked. “Only if it’s made by you.” “Well, you don’t see anyone else in my house do you?” “Boy, I do love the feisty spirit in the early morning!” He settled down, relaxed, on her soft couch. “Get me some good juice to go along!” As Laverne busied herself in the kitchen, Zach eyed the pile of letters on top of the coffee table. “Seriously, don’t you read mails?” “You could pay the bills for me if it bothers you seeing them.” He chuckled to himself, and started sorting out the letters, separating bill-alike envelopes from personal mail. And there, was an envelope, similar to the one in his jacket, in the middle on the stack. ----------------------------
