RP's are not something that promote creativity. It's a place where people can date and cause drama on the forums.

I have 2 definitions of role play

1) a community story

2) a conversation with a topic

By definition 1 it would stay in fan fiction in definition 2 it would go to off topic

It does not matter if people like them.

RP is Roleplay. Fanfiction is for writing stories and is has been that way here for a long time. RPs ruined the section, and they don't belong on this game's forums for that reason. Other forums have Roleplay sections. Roleplay there, not here.

What's even worse about the roleplays in fanfiction is that they're all terrible. Most posts contain a sentence or two... Terribly amateur roleplays with more ((OOC)) than actual Roleplay.
