the full acronym is LGBT. transsexual is a slur. it is not part of the acronym, ever. queer is considered to still be a slur as well and is therefore excluded. questioning people do not have a separate letter. the intersex community has asked time and time again not to be included in the acronym. cishet asexual people are not LGBT; asexual is not and has never been part of the acronym OR community, because the entire purpose of the community is to unite people who face homophobia and/or transphobia, which cishet ace people do not. ally may be included only as a way for closeted LGBT people to be part of the community without outing themsves. pansexual people are included on the grounds of being SGA, but do not have a separate letter in the acronym because the "LGB" portion essentially says "any SGA person" at VERY most, it's LGBTPA, with the A standing for ally in protection of closeted LGBT people.
Ok then why did that I see that presented in the London pride of 2016 and that's what google has presented. Some people view it as a slur others don't. It's down again to opinion. If you view them as slurs that your opinion but you cannot speak for everyone
Tbh you got no right saying certain groups can't be apart of the LGBT or can't have a letter in the acronym. Who the hell are you to say this ? Again you can voice your opinion. But I will never sit there saying that this group of people are not allowed or accepted into the LGBT community. Anyone and everyone is welcome. Once you start discriminating and trying to "cut off" certain groups then you're just as bad as the people against LGBT.
lol y'all arguing about something so unrelated to this game is hilarious voicing your opinion where it don't matter can this thread get locked
Does every single thread have to about pimd ? If that's the case why do we have a fan fiction section on forums ?
once you allow the oppressors of the LGBT into the LGBT, it destroys the entire point of the LGBT. so.
The oppressors ? Why would they wanna join if they're against the community. So Because I'm straight and I do not fit the "criteria". I'm not allowed to be apart of the community ? As I said you're just as bad as the 'oppressors' and you're against the basic fundamentals of the LGBT community. The LGBT welcomes and accepts anyone because they know what it is like to be excluded and discriminated. All they want is the same respect and love back. If everyone had your mindset how would we ever grow ? Everyone would hate each other because we are all different. Where's the love ? Clearly you still got some pain in you that's making think this way.
Lol so I guess this thread belongs in Fan Fiction Typically anybody's forum is game based not a place to express the LGBT community lol
That's not an acronym, that's Donald Trump on a late night Twitter rant ?. Once you start adding so many letters to something that it becomes an alphabet, it loses its meaning.
uh... no. youre not. you, a straight cis person, are not part of a community of SGA/trans people. thats pretty damn obvious. we are a community for a reason join a glee club.
Some concepts: -Pay no attention to a thread if you don't like it, if you really believe it shouldn't be here then report it. -*Some people in the community like the word queer and use it to identify themselves as they may feel like they don't fit into a certain "category," but that's up to an individuals' discretion rather than someone calling another person Queer. -You cannot be in the community if you're literally not identifying with it, however allies are pretty cool. -Even if these labels seem unnecessary to you, they make people feel better, like they have a place and it's not doing anything harmful for the most part. -Lastly everyone will find something to get triggered about regarding this and although I understand some of the reasons why, you should just ignore it unless they get ridiculous -they is a nice pronoun -I'm dead inside
you definitely can't snap your finger and stop loving someone but it's very possible to not love anymore, this guy is living proof ?
